For those concerned that they cannot link their NA POL acc to their EU SE account. I was trying to find out if they could manually link and if they knew why they couldn't be linked. Sad thing is the guy had no idea and wouldn't help me. His use of the word beta and not alpha scares me though
Agent Paul: I just spoke with my supervisor, and he stated to me that the playonline ID and the square enix id does not need to be linked.
Tom: Ok did he have any idea as to why they cant be linked?
Agent Paul: Not sure about that unfortunately. I would need to look into the issue further.
Tom: Would you possibly be able to do that for me?
Agent Paul: However, for the Beta at least you do not need to link your playonline ID so that shouldn't be a problem in terms of the beta.
Agent Paul: Unfortunately we can not.
Tom: Ok then i guess that is all

SE's customer service still sucks 7 years later. I had a fight with them last week. You gotta understand he's a minimum wage employee reading from a script. If you hope to get anything accomplished, you have to demand to speak to a supervisor/manager/whatever.
