Even if you were right, it's only as funny as this article if we find a document with funny little cartoons like the sun holding a metallic hammer and sickle, hitting the polar ice caps.

Edit: I see Yahoo more as like BG General in news organization form. Where a pile of people post literally anything and give it a catchy title to make it look like news when its just a pile of nothing. Real interesting articles are few and far between. Either way, this one made me lulz.

The original story is from the Politico, which is a local DC paper that reports on both sides of the fence of national government. They're actually pretty good at pulling the pants down on both Dems and Republicans, this just happens to be a rather juicy chunk of meat for them to chew on.

And c'mon. The Republicans fear-steered us plenty during the Bush years. This is just a rare chance to see the actual process stated officially on paper. They've been painting the "Demo(n)crats" as an inevitable slide towards socialism (which by association is "communism" and hence SATAN INCARNATE to a chunk of the Republican base).

I'd love to see the whole document posted. It'd be the "Republican guide to trolling the public."

Anyways, this is just evidence of what everyone already knows. In my mind its no condemnation of the GOP, nor is it a bright plus for the Democrats. Both parties do this shit, both go for brownie points tugging on heart strings too. Its like if documents were found relating to Obama's citation of "the greatest tragedy (paraphrasing)" of the health care system being "a mother with breast cancer fearing losing her coverage due to a pre-existing condition." Intentionally went with that to pull peoples heartstrings and get them to BAWWWWWWwwwww.
