I've been to 3 different universities, and typically, C's or better transfer to new universities. You have to retake a D or less. So there's a caveat, even if you pass the class at another university, you may not get credit for it. Mostly just shitty for underachieving students. My masters program requires a 3.7 or above, and I had a shitty freshman year. Luckily, the credit hours transferred as complete, but the grades didn't.
