What job are you taking to 99 first?

That's certainly what I'm planning on doing within the next three months. That, plus playing catch-up with Wings missions.

My subs for DRG are for the most part taken care of with SAM/WHM/THF/PLD/WAR/BLU/DRK/DNC all 50+. In the long run all I need to do for subs is RDM37/NIN40/BLM41 to 49. I should be able to do all of that on campaign ops and exp scrolls alone by the time DRG and SCH reach 99.

I'll level BLU first. After that, either DRK or RDM, depending on how the jobs play at 99. I have this horrible feeling DRK and MNK are going to be the new lolpup's.

There really shouldn't be, considering you don't need 49 until December...

Personally, all my subs are leveled to 50+ for the jobs I use except for NIN.

I'm doing COR because it's the only job I wouldn't have to level any subs for. Everything I'd sub on it is 50 or higher, plus it's a useful job so I figure I'll be able to participate in content and get exp parties before I decide if I want to grind more jobs to 99.

The part of me that wants to do a fun job first says take care of NIN first at each level cap increase.

The part of me that wants to be useful says do SAM or RDM. I play more SAM than RDM these days, so I might do SAM first.

monk first for sure. no idea what i'll do after that if i take another up, i'd like to have 99whm because it'll be useful, but i don't know if i can stomch grinding it out another 24 levels.

Ninja to 80 and 99 without any hesitation.
The question is "do I bother finishing one out of Pld War and Mnk ?". I'm quite decided to play less jobs, and the more I'll level these, the less I'll get chances to play Ninja.

I also have Whm and Brd, and I'll probably take one out of these two at 99, but I'm not decided on which yet.

I'll probably take NIN and RDM eventually (RDM is 71).

At the moment, I'm trying to focus on subjobs that aren't 49 and grinding out more merits to finish those out before the level cap increase. (I still need to finish STR and some WAR group 2, and I don't have any NIN merits because I never use the job).
