I would say not to get the expansions based on items since they will be raising the level cap possibly making those items obslete. However at $10.00 not a bad idea

Yea but spending 3m for a witch sash along with other items which could easily add up for several mil only to be obsolete in a 3 months doesn't seem like the best plan but then again they might still be best in slot after they raise the cap.
Still a little conflicted any way you slice it.
That game is still years away.
adding my 2 cents to both at once.
Missions aren't done. There's no end reward yet, but there are lots of nice campaign things.
The vast majority of the missions are soloable, this is coming from a person with nin and smn to work with, though.
There are some you need people for, but nothing particularly challenging (unless you just try to solo it all, then there are some fun, serious challenges).
Their value is pretty much exclusively in the end rewards, with an absurdly minuscule chance at lucking into a random something nice on the way. (except in shantoto... where you don't get shit for rewards til the end your first time through)4) what are the mini expansions like? are they worth getting? Do they have good rewards?
Assuming you have wal-mart/don't have antares/nhead/wlegs etc--
Head:
+10acc
+15wsacc/+4str
Sick ws piece.
Chest:
Acc+10
Att+10
Grats, you finally got a haub, and it's even spiffy for solo.
Pants:
Haste+3%
Movement speed+8%
Obvious reasoning here. If you have homam maybe just get movement speed and whatever random pet thing or something I dunno. But yeah, the value of movement speed is just immeasurable, even at the expense of some acc in your tp set.
Also, people, don't forget: Even though you missed the $7.50 sale, you can still get the UC for $15 on steam, and it gives you all 3 minis, and that's half what you'll pay buying through pol.
