btw I just used my sentinel macro in the pic cause I didn't feel like throwing on town gear one piece at a time lol

Now I have a question. Aside from being a pretty nice piece for curing waltz mods when I'm soloing /dnc, or being a turtle piece, what use does this have?

My friend remarked, "Nice Ichi piece lol". Should I really be using this over walahra turban for ichi? My ichi build before getting this helm includes shield torque, buckler earring, w turban, dusk gloves, fast cast nuevo coselete, silver obi +1, valor breeches, gallant leggings. Still caps recast with double march + haste.

You'll get mixed messages as far as its utility versus, say, Darksteel Cap+1. Personally I use it for Ichi.

Weapon skills that are parry'd, guarded, countered, etc will always show up at "miss", right?

If so, that seems reasonable.

You would have it start casting Ichi, wait X, then equip turban just before the spell actually goes off. The above poster was probably assuming you use spellcast, without it, just go play with it to find out how long you need to wait to get it swapped on before the spell finishes. I would but, I'm not at home


Edit: You don't input /wait by the way, in windower macros just wait X works.

Hmm. Maybe I should just put a separate macro right next to my ichi macro specifically for equipping w turban, will make sure it goes on at the right time. Might get pompous and irritating after a while though.

This is what happened. DI's attacks function like WSs, as you probably know.

Utsu: Ichi's casting time is 4 seconds, so you can base it around that.

I'm not even arguing the amount of haste necessary to cap the timer. I'm pointing out your flawed logic in making Ichi appear to be useless, and that riding the timer is never ever necessary.
