I'm trying to build the perfect utsusemi:ichi macro for my rdm/nin. How do you guys use the cancel plugin without spellcast?

I tried just macroing it into my utsusemi: Ichi macro like this

/ma utsusemi: Ichi <me>
/wait 2
/cancel 66

this is on rdm/nin and /wait 3 is too long. I tried this out last night and it ended up canceling utsu too early so more often than not I would get hit and interrupted. (I was better off canceling it manually)

Seperate question, for non spell cast users (maybe I should just bite the bullet and use it) for an -100%+ interupt build for use with utsusemi casting, is there a good way to macro it in... I'm thinking:

/equip fastcast
/ma "utsusemi"
/wait 1
/equip interrupt build
/wait 1 (?)
/equip haste build

However, this leaves out room for //cancel, and the -interrupt equipment is only equiped for short time, almost not even worth it.

Could someone give a 1-party-ish strategy for Faith? I know 2x RDM/NIN + WHM works, but I lack a -%MDT set and I don't feel like investing in that over other upgrades I could make at the moment (like any kind of MND build or Auster's Staff). I'm looking to get somewhere between 7 and 10 Third Virtues, so I'd like something a little quicker than that if possible, assume access to all jobs. My experience with him basically consists of Paladins tanking while BLMs Aero/Blizzard themselves to death. If there is a better way, I would love to use it.

Also, will Paeon reduce the MMM NM drop rates to 0? Like, if I put Great Warrior, Lizard, Dark Magic, Force of Will, and Paeon on a Liquidation maze, could I still theoretically get Kogglemander?

Thank you for your answer i also made an observation today..

I was in garlaige citadel (s) ( it was beastmen control) and there was 2 waves of tarutaru and they killed the mega boss but then they focused on the adds the killed 7 of them and when the cb endend there was 9 of them and i was like WTF.....

So then wich is the point of offensive operations ? kill the enemies very fast so they dont respawn?

As far as I know, the point of an offensive battle is to lower the forts by 10%. Each mob is 1 fortification, so usually the point is to kill 15-20 mobs. Every actual Fortification you bring to 50% (you know the point where it heals back to full) is also 1 fortification.

/Whm and don't straight tank it. The pull is tricky, not sure which side of the river you are using but i suggest the one near the BC. You have to cast twice on it to make sure you don't deaggro it before you dropped down the bridge. If it deaggro mid-way then you have to run back up lol

Use powder boot, claim it and run. Half way through, cast another spell on it and drop down the bridge. It should follow you down the river, once it is down, it is dead.

Thanks for the tip. I will try it some time when I have time.. And yea I did try and go towards the Splitting Heirs BC entrance but even before I got to the midpoint I had 1000000000000000 orcs with me and got murdered lol.. I didn't try it with powder though that's probably the difference maker

Already using windower, why not use scripts for this?

in the second case though, you way have to adjust the times if gear is swapping in and out too fast to get the effect from it.

You have wleg? The powder boot is actually for you to run back to claim the NM with a second spell and get out of the horde of orcs asap. Purely running with initial cast on NM without powder shouldn't kill you assuming NM doesn't deaggro.

Used to do the monk tank-style, pretty fun but not as fast as compared to blms nuking.

Did it with Whm , rdm/whm, 3 blm/rdm and a thf

Bascially just grav it and nuke. If grav wears and it enters MF, do not waste grav. Continue nuking on blms until it died. Whm is just there for stona, you can skip whm if your blms are good at kiting (run when you have hate). Get the thf to call hate.

Real SMN is by far the best DD on that, wind blade averages about 1150 for my friend. 3 SMN + 2 RDM + WHM can kill it in 8-10 minutes pretty safely.

So, I've recently switched over to using spellcast on SCH, and although the one I have is kinda borked, it still works fine for what I need. What I'm wondering is if anyone can guide me through setting up how to blink out Strategems that are qued up before the spell(How this XML does it) or just how to do it in general with spellcast.

-Problems are the sublimation tick counter not working(Shows but doesn't count)
-Having to switch jobs/start on another job, and then loading the XML to have it work properly.

I'm sure you mean the "Peon" rune, since "Paeon" is a bard song.

It has been proven that Koggel can drop even if you don't use Might or Supreme Might.

Therefore, it follows that Koggel should still continue to drop even if you throw in Peon and/or Weakness.

The truth of the matter is that it's not even proven that runes affect drop rates. People have gone 0/100+ with the "best" runes and my friend went 1/3.

Currently in the process of rethinking most of my THF gear and playstyle, since I'm starting to actually do things other than TH4 with it. Apologies for the simple questions, but I want to make sure I don't miss anything.

- Is /NIN still the "only" sub? Last time I really looked into it, the dominating argument related to exploiting the TP floor with low delay daggers to WS more often, but since that's no longer the case, I'm curious as to what is now considered important.

- I've had a Blau for years now, but have never seriously used a second dagger outside of TK. If X's is out of the question for the moment, is there anything else I should be doing aside from getting an Ermine's Tail/Sirocco?

- What's the general train of thought regarding WS sets? I've always tended to be a bit more STR than DEX in my builds, since I'm a Mithra. I can throw up the actual sets if needed though.

- Should I be seeing huge variances in damage between DE and Evisceration? I notice a lot of people post about solo DE setups, but nothing about Evisceration, yet I don't seem to see a compelling reason to use DE at present.

What's the easiest way to setup Spellcast for multiple jobs? One huge file with separate <Main Job = Black Mage> sections? Or can you name separate files and load them separately depending on what job you're on? I'm worried that huge file will sloooooow things down.

Lately, i've been trying this awesome new thing whenever I have tat around (my other char) to cure me, I've been coming /drk to dynamis and mixing it up with a little souleater action to pump up the ws damage. Please note, that is really only for shits and giggles...all the rest of the time I come /nin and pull like the well-behaved thief I try to be while tagging stats for TH.

Also, I've built an interesting Ddex build to try to maximize crits and haste. My theory is that if I can get 25% crit, then crit damage will make up for low damage of normal dagger attacks. I'm currently parsing my dynamis city runs, since its 4 hours of attacks anyway, to see if this set might increase overall damage vs. a more normal haste/accuracy/str/attack setup. Even though its an amalgum of mobs, with varying agility rates, its still the best I can do in terms of showing a (semi) real-game application of Ddex (please don't mention merit parties...people don't invite thf to merit parties lol).

As mentioned, just name them properly (~/Windower/Plugins/Spellcast/<Character Name>/<Job Name>.xml) and they'll autoload on job change. If you only ever play one character, can omit the <Character Name> level.

Strictly speaking DD: /nin for mobs where you are well buffed, /war for mobs where you are not (or they are still very strong, eg: Kirin).

Fane Baselard with incredible stats can theoretically outdo Sirocco/Ermine's but takes a lot of luck.

Depends on the WS. DEX > STR in equal values for every THF weaponskill which isn't Mercy Stroke though, regardless of race. DE and Evis need a balance of all stats (more focus on DEX on Evis), Mandalic Stab throws accuracy out of the window and just gears it for that one hit (only use stacked... basically a latter level Viper Bite) and Shark Bite falls somewhere inbetween these.

They're very similar. A perfect Evis build (meaning cap dDEX with no sacrifices) should beat a perfect DE build pretty much anywhere though, and since you're a Mithra this is within your grasp comfortably (117DEX needed on Greater Colibri Level 82 by the way).

Quick question about cor/blm(MAB2), RDM(MAB1), BLU(MAB1) with uggy pendant. How are you triggering latent? As it stands I have 206 MP on cor/blm(Hume +4 mp merits). Only gear I can find is cassie, physical, shield pendant and 2x light rings(135 mp drop). Which drops it low enough, but my question is when we start scaling up is there something I am missing?

Also I am thinking shark necklace might have a use if you are in a mage party to lessen the macro intensity to keep you in effect.
