Any idea on the conditions that cause the Archaic Rampart on Arrapago 5F to seemingly agro one run and then not agro the other?

certain weather can cause the aggro/link radius to go really far down. water for instance. That's only thing i can think of. It'll still aggro but you basically have to run through them

How in the fucking hell do you get around this? This has happened EVERY FUCKING TIME I try to update a credit card. The worst part of it is, after you try it, you have to go through TEN FUCKING MINUTES of screens ALL OVER AGAIN to get back to the point you were at before!

Does the SE authenticator tag require you to input both your one-time password as well as your SE password, or can you just use the one-time?

Been considering getting one just for the doubled-inventory as I'm really getting tired of gear-shuffling in FFXI. Account security has never really been an issue for me, although it'll be a bonus if it works with XIV, which I'm assuming it will since it's tied to the SE account and not the POL one.

When you link your SE account to an authenticator, it changes several things. You no longer can "autologin" with your saved PoL password. You now have to have a correct PoL password saved in the settings. Then you must use BOTH your SEID password as well as your One Time password from the authenticator each time you login. They save your PoL password so you do not have to continually enter three things to login, but you are still required to type in 2.

(There is an offchance that PoL will randomly forget your PoL pw if PoL is updated, corrupted by improper shutdown, etc. In this case you will receive a password error even if both your SEID and Authenticator pws are correct. So if you are continually having issues logging in with a "bad password" error, check the setting for your PoL pw.)

It turns out that even though I had changed my address online through my credit card company's website, the card was still technically billed to the address I used when I applied for it. If you can figure out the exact address that your credit card company has stored (this means exact capitalization, punctuation, and everything - Street vs. STREET vs. St. and so on) and input that on PoL, you should be able to update your information.

Then again, it could be something completely different, in which case I have no idea

Yeah, unless you can get a lucky DEX2 Acc3 Earring from ACP but it's probably not worth the time for such a minimal upgrade >_>

Active minuet is 1 more dex, I can't think of anything else if you need the acc.

I've seen coral earrings augmented with 2 or 3 acc. I've tried for them for a while but gave up lol. fov is a huge time sink.

Ok, fairly new to BRD. I thought for debuffs you had to just stack CHR, but apparently wind skill also gives macc? How much CHR am I supposed to stack? What's this CHR cap or w/e I hear about?

Tbh, I think it's just an old hold-over from the days when no one really knew how anything worked, so they came up with "rules of thumb" (like the 320/120 thing for int that some people still cling to like dogma). Wihle I don't think anyone's tested it, debuffs seem to work like other spells in that skill gives acc. I've geared my bard under these assumptions, and never had any problems landing debuffs more than other bards seem to.

I think I figured it out one run. We had thunder weather up(don't think i've even seen that before) and the rampart would not aggro. Are they considered arcana? I know the weapons in ro'maeve for example, have an extremely small aggro range during thunder weather.

They change their aggro state at what I believe to be set intervals, don't quote me on that though.

They aggro sound at night, put on sneak if its night and it wont aggro.

my memory is fail, I seem to recall I used to be able to target people who hadn't loaded on my screen by inputting the command in the command line; this no longer works, and if quite annoying when trying to target specific people in towns / besieged w/e. Is there any work around for this and has it always been lke that?

will still target the player if they are within range (50'), even if they haven't loaded on your screen or a behind a wall etc.

The only reason it doesnt work (outside of SE breaking it) is you are out of range, or you miss-spelt the name.
