Wow.. so I go to camp Chary (no idea of the ToD), there is a JP ls camping him, 2 NIN, THF, RDM, DNC, WAR, MNK. It popped, they let it white while they buff, and claim.

They start wiping, I ask the LS to help me out, they wipe, my ls starts ariving, I kite for a couple minutes, we kill, and I get drop....

I was speechless, I think this has been one, or the number 1 luckiest instance ive ever had in this game. Was so happy. And I just unlocked Atonement the other day too D: So thankful.

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium (64)

I installed FFXI and windower from windower.net and all works great except one thing..... I can't duo box.....
For whatever reason I can not open a 2nd instance of windower.
I have tried several different things including all things listed on windower.net

Just wondering what others have done to duo box with Windows 7.

I has question, recently started trying to HQ my BLM AF, and I just got myself the apollyon dorp, yay.

Question though is which piece to upgrade first?

Since shit's situational, I do sea, Einherjar, dynamis and limbus as far as end game goes. I'm main RDM, though I do go BLM to each of said events sometimes. I got sick and tired of stupid people and now do pretty much all my merits solo on BLMs. I'd rather get less exp/hour than get slightly more with a couple of fucktards that make me wanna kill myself or those around me.

Head doesn't interest me much, I have Demon's +1 for the INT, Relic for Skill and Oracle's for MPh. If I'm super wrong about not wanting head, just lemme know.

I use body for debuffs obviously, and Errant for MPh. With lvl cap increase I'll probably try again for Oracle's, or if I get rich enough I'll get Mahatma.

Hands, I only use the AF hands on resistant mobs, so the INT+3 would be nice, and this is the piece I'm leaning towards, seems the best choice.

Legs seem like a worthless upgrade since Baron's Slops have same MPh and Yigit has more.

lolfeet. I'm already at the cap for Stoneskin, so the MND doesn't interest me.

Just wanting to make sure I'm not missing anything important.

Eventually I wanna HQ all the pieces I actually use, then request and NPC store the NQ set, so yeah, is that stupid?

For straight up TPing on dnc, I've found two potential daggers that both blow cobra knife way out of the water.

Sleight Kukri: Delay 150 ∆TP = 4.8%

Cinquedea: Delay 156 ∆TP = 4.8% (latent effect STP+5 when TP>100%)

Base TPMs: (3600/True Delay) * ∆TP

Sleight Kukri: 3600 / 150 * 4.8 = 115.2 TPM

Cinquedea: 3600 / 156 * 4.8 = 110.7 TPM

Store TP: +5 for Cinqueda, +15 from /sam (/sam > /nin tp wise already been proven etc etc) base TPM * (1 + 0.01*sTP)

Sleight Kukri: 115.2 * 1.15 = 132.4 TPM (Im pretty sure Im supposed to floor this to the tenth right?)

Cinquedea: 110.7 * 1.2 = 132.8 TPM

Haste: +5% walmart turban, +4% rap harness, +3% dusk hands, +3% etoile body, +1% Airy Buckler = 16% total haste atm (swift belt being a bitch for me so I just use virtuoso)

Same stuff as above but delay * 1-0.01*haste etc etc

Sleight Kukri: 157.7 TPM

Cinqeuda: 158.2 TPM

Saber Dance: 50~10% DA (calculate base hits/round * 1.5 and calculate that through *1.1 to show range)

Sleight Kukri: 172.4~188.1~203.7~219.4~235.1

Cinquedea: 169.9~185.3~200.8~216.2~231.7

So as you can see, to start without haste or SD the cinquedea wins by a hair, but as I add in haste cinquedea takes the lead, only to be completely overtaken by the sleight kukri when I pop saber dance.

On top of that Cinq only procs when my tp >100%, which generalllllly its over when Im solely focusing on TPing, which are what these daggers would be used for. Healing, stuff like that. But sometime's when I have to cure bomb it dips down into the 50s and takes a few rounds to pull it back up to >100%

So, which of these daggers should I go for? It's looking like a situational thing again, in which sleight kukri wins on TP zerging from 0% when I can afford saber dance, BCNMs, NM fights whenre I dont have time to build tp, etc.

On the other hand for longer fights where I can't pop SD as I need to keep fan dance up permanently, and I spend most of it >100%, Cinqueda would win through its higher DPS and slightly faster TP gain.

PS: Cobra knife, the previous top TPing dagger for dnc, only has a base TPM of about 102, Azoth has like 98, to give you an idea of what kind of TPing beasts these daggers both are. I think they might even out TP joytoy when offhanded + SD, in other words, Cinqueda might be permanently a better offhand over joytoy for dnc even in campaign, the one place joytoy is actually not gimp.

Oh hay, almost forgot, I have a few other random FFringtones if you'd like. I have the FFXIchocobo theme, which I set to a specific FFXIfriend's ringtone for when they call, and I have various Fanfare's from a few other FF's, I think VI, IX and XII. May have more stuff, but that's all I recall at the moment as far as FFgoes. Oh wait, I think I have a partial Kefka theme, it's my reminder for Dynamis I think. Also have some Disgaea and maybe Chrono Trigger ringtones if you're interested. Everything was custom made by me. If you, or anyone else, is interested I can post which ones I actually have and upload them for peoples. If I can fix my PC, or get a new one, I may start taking requests since it's easy with the programs I use.

Last I knew, this was unpossible, though its been about 3 months since I checked. The latest version at that time was not dual-box compatible with Windows 7. Which is the only reason I made the painful decision to keep dual-booting my PC with Vista.

I cant remember what I did, but it is possible to 2box while using 7 as I do. My problem however is being unable to use a true fullscreen as I used to on Vista. Sorry this doesnt help, but I just wanted to let ya know it is possible,
