I personally did Defuse the Threat to get a mule Gomlek, use APRadar to find the mines and preferably go on a job with Phalanx + Stoneskin so the Qiqirns don't dent you.

I cannot access wiki at work and I didn't see it asked in the last three pages of the thread or any topics in the main forums, so I'll ask this here. Has anyone mined Halvung and/or Mt Zhay since the update? THere was a note saying the results have been altered and I was wondering what the difference was.

Ok, so I've seen it asked but not really addressed or answered. GKT with 89 Base DMG from the Magi Trials, any speculation on how it would compare to Hagun?

Also, I've seen weapon ranks brought up amongst the talks, what's the calculation to find a weapons rank? And what kind of effect does different weapon ranks have on things like WS's and melee dmg?

Has there been any augmented neck/waist/ear pieces with some sort of PDT RDM can use? Think I seen an Orochi Nodowa with some but can't recall.

    Sitting at -48% PDT/50@Night, trying to make it a even 50/50. :3

Edit: Oh, does it have any rounding issues where you really need 51 to cap it like Haste sorta?

I understand that 2H DD's need 407ish Accuracy to hit 95% on Greater Colibri, but does anyone know how much Accuracy you should shoot for (in order to hit 95%) in events like Dynamis, Einherjar etc.? I'm sure the mobs vary, but is there a standard "acceptable" number I should be trying to reach?

    To be more specific:
I'm trying to determine which end-game events you can get away with eating pure Attack food for vs. events that you'll need to use Pizza in order to hit the Accuracy cap.

Hmmm, how did you get -48% at day?
    Terra/ darksteel+1 (head/body/hand/leg/feet) / Jelly/ Patro/ Umbra

That is 46%, assuming you get the Add-on -PDT 4%, 47%. Did i miss something? Yea there is an orochi nodowa with -PDT, i think it is 2%.

dynamis cities and most of limbus:375 more than enough. exception: certain special NMs or limbus floors ( bird floor in appol and a few tememnos advanced come to mind, 420 was not enough w...).

salvage: <400 pre boss, 420 boss.

dynamis Xarcabard/tav/dream: due to blind mainly, need a bit more than 400 and maybe 415 on NMs.

    einherjar: shoot for 430

Loses by about 2% in most situations using YGK before you bring weapon rank into play. Weapon rank affects the fSTR cap of the weapon, and the 89 damage weapon is 2 ranks above Hagun. That means if you had more than 64 STR (16 fSTR; fSTR caps at WR+8) over the mob's VIT, the 89 damage GKT would close the gap a bit.

    Weapon rank calculation:

    Code:
    Hand-to-Hand

The Weapon Rank for Hand-to-Hand is as follows:

        floor (Weapon Damage +3 / 9)

    All other weapons

The calculation for all other weapons is as follows:

        floor (Weapon Damage / 9)

Note: Ranged Weapons do not include ammo in Weapon Damage.
EDIT: There was a post in the relic augment thread about augments not affecting weapon rank. Can anybody confirm/deny?

Have the aggro rules been changed recently? As far ago as I could remember, mobs at level 62 (or 63) or lower could not aggro a non-resting level 75. However, today in Garlaige, I was aggrod several times by Fallen Majors as low level as 60.

    What gives?

Anyone test how the regain cape works in campaign? Is it like 1 TP a tick?

Shooting down the Baron is another good (and stupidly easy) one if the others aren't to your taste.

I'll have to look and see, but resting in front of an EP mob like undeads would seem to be a good way to get aggro.

    Per wiki fwiw....

Aggro is a shortening of "Aggressive (behavior)." This term refers to the behavior of an enemy approaching and attacking, as opposed to your attacking first.

Only enemies high enough in level, relative to your main job level, can be aggressive towards you (with the exception of Spheroids). Checking (/check) the monster can give you an idea of its level in relation to yours. Monsters that check as "Too Weak" will generally not be aggressive, along with some monsters in the "Easy Prey" range. However, Notorious Monsters will always check as "Impossible to Gauge", regardless of whether they are high enough in level to be aggressive towards you or not.

Resting (/heal) temporarily drops your "level" to 1 as far as aggro rules are concerned. Meaning, if you rest in a "Too Weak" mob's aggro range, it will still aggro you no matter how high your actual level may be.

Most Beastmen aggro. Many higher-level enemies of families that do not aggro at lower levels may aggro as well.

Yup, sorry, I totally misread that part. Still, I think the excerpt from Wiki discusses it.

Regardless, some mobs that can aggro will aggro as EP and some won't. It used to be all would, and that was changed a while ago (3 years?)

I always expect EP undeads to aggro, but I can't be sure that's the case. Also, ofc, assume you had 'white' hp. Otherwise, doesn't seem new to me. Others might disagree.
