I use spellcast so i could set rules to use Fenrir Earring

When would be the best situation to use it?

I can't decide on a Weapon Skill Gorget. I will be using it mainly on SAM and RNG. Would it be better to get a Snow (Gekko,Rana,Yuki) and keep farming for a Light (Kasha,Sidewinder,Slug) or can I just pick up an Aqua (Sidewinder,Slug,Gekko)?

tldr; Is a WS gorget worth it for Rana/Yuki.

if you're only getting one gorget the Aqua is the best since if you arent using gekko or sidewinder you're doing it wrong usually. If you're picking up more than one you can get breeze flame snow and i forget the last but those 4 cover literally every single good ws out there.

Capricornus (Krabkatoa path) and Eredus (Lord Ruthven path) both are. I was about to try Yucamama with RDM/BLU and Taco but I got key item from Capricornus and have to wait until we pop Krabkatoa (maybe later?), but I'm not sure it'll go well.

I am curious when people said they can solo 1 of the nms T2 in that path. What do you do when you happen to pop the other? Die and reraise? Or you can tell which NM is it before you pop?

I'm in the same boat as well. Got to kill Capricornus solo before I could try the RDM/BLU jazz on the sea monk. Got to try Yacumama with RDM/NIN 3 times before I ran into Capricornus though(as RDM/BLU no less.. that did not end well D: ).

Even though I was /nin I had a pretty decent turtle gear with taco etc but 100 fist owned me pretty badly:/. 40-60 dmg with phalanx and turtle gear per hit with frequent triple attack and whatnot.. Even with cocoon I don't have high hopes for it. I saw "Soloable by RDM/NIN" the second day after the patch on the Yacumama page on wiki but meh.. Best bet for a RDM I think is to spawn the NMs with warp cudgel in hand with RDM/NIN until Capricornus actually shows its ugly face

well for mnk and nin use Brutal/Fenrir during the day, Brutal/(Insert Att Earring here) during the night. Brutal/Bushi for sam.
