Can you delete a character from an inactive account (meaning the Content IDs for that account have been canceled)?

My goal is to delete a character from my old account so I can reuse the name on my new account.

I can log into POL, but it won't let me into FFXI. I hit the "Play" button, but I get an error saying that my ID's are canceled. So I'm assuming I can't delete the character then?

People are going to argue the meaning of the word "diminishing", so I won't pick a term, but let's say you add 5% DA to 0% DA, you'd get a higher % increase in damage than you would adding 5% DA to an existing 10% DA

So along this same line of thought...

Would you still use Brutal Earring with the Magian OAT Polearm? Or will the DA return from the earring be nerfed too low to be worthwhile?

At 40% base plus Pole Grip, you're looking at a base of 40+(2*.6)=41.2% and Brutal will add 5*.6=3% for a total of 44.2%. 144.2/141.2=2.12% increase.

You'll see a slightly lower than 2.12% increase to total DPS by equipping it during TP phase (lower due to TP overflow). A 4 accuracy (Hollow/ACP copy) earring beats this as long as your hitrate is <=93% without it; a 3 accuracy earring (Diabolos) will match it at ~71%.

OAT weapons don't proc on WS, so Brutal's still your first choice for Drakesbane.

To delete characters after you cancel all of the content IDs on an account, you have to do so in the same billing cycle. Paying for the content IDs is what grants you access to the characters. (If at least 1 content ID is active on an account, you should be able to delete characters even if they aren't active.)

Unfortunately, to do what you want, you'll have to first, activate a content ID on the account with the character you want to delete, then delete the character, then presumably cancel the content ID again in the same billing cycle. This will trigger a $13 charge, since its apparent that no content IDs are active on that account.

Any idea if a light shotted dia II that doesn't show "the mob is slept" still upgrades the dia II to dia III? thinking specifically t3 vnm's like crab and vampyr.

Whenever I change main jobs or visible pieces of gear in the Mog House at my home nation, POL crashes and I have to restart it [sub jobs work fine]. Anyone have any idea what may be causing this? This only happens in my home nation and no where else. I have dat swapped a few pieces of armor and weapons, but nothing crazy. And I am also running Aikar's version of FFXIstyle. Thanks in advance.

Why do people seem not to like Snapshot when ranged TPing?
Apart from the Barbut, I feel like cors never use Snapshot stuff. Like, why pick QD augments on your ACP body - if you care about your cor enough to augment your body just for it, why not pick Snapshot and use it as your ranged-TP building body?
Also, why not use Commodore Hands against W hands?
