Portal 1 was about 4-5 hours long.

Not for most people! Though I really don't believe someone to beat it in 40 minutes on their first play. Unless you're factoring in advanced trials in to that time, in which case 4-5 might be a bit more accurate... unfortunately this game doesn't have anything of the sort, but I suppose co-op more than makes up for that.

I'm just amazed at what Valve considers good value for your money with regards to microtransaction prices....., saw a screencap over at /v/ where you can buy 'skins' (aka a texture) for $5 each. Wtf?

They make Activision's $15 map packs look like a fucking bargain.

Such a scam, they gave you good indie games for some moderate amount of cash and their game came out 12hrs early. how dare they, they must be Nazi's or Nigerian princes.

Yeah they could have released it a few days earlier, but they would have been hardcore dicking over video game stores who probably had a lot of preorder sales going on for it.

That's not a fix, it still wouldn't have been developed by Valve. They did some extra work which they're willing to sell to you for a price. Cry harder that they're not giving it to you for free.

Stupid Question maybe...but can you unlock the emotes people are complaing about being DLC? The preview vid i saw a few days ago showed that you did unlock some by progressing though the co-op...it was either a clap or a thumbs up..forget which.

I <3 those personality cores at the end because of all the stupid stuff they say. I remember one saying "Like everything else he did, Lincoln freed the slaves while sleep walking". Isn't there a program you can install that lets you view a lot of the files in steam games? That way I could listen to all their quotes without having to replay the final boss a billion times.

I was told that in order to play with people on the PC, with your PS3, you must have a steam account AND the code from the game. I wanted to play the PS3 and PC together, but my PS3 account wouldnt have the steam code, only a different account that will be on the PC. Since I was told you can't do that, I figured I would ask.

First of all, why on earth would you play this on the console. Inferior version and all that.

Second, I'm not sure what you're asking...you want to play your PS3 version with your PC version? So run 2 copies of the game simultaneously?
