Anybody have one of these or have had one that can tell me a little bit about them? like their demeanor and playfullness. I have a 1yr old corgi now so want a fun dog for him to play with

haha living in a one bedroom apt or I would have the Aussie I always wanted but I cant so I gotta settle for a small-medium dog!

I grew up with 2 scottish terriers, one after the other passed away. We never took either one to obedience school, but they were pretty easily trainable to recognize key words. Both of them loved to chase small animals, so we could never let them outside without a leash. They were also pretty friendly to strangers, and they loved getting attention from guests. A downside to being so friendly, is that they make horrible watchdogs. If someone ever broke into your place, I'm pretty sure a typical scottish terrier would just try to become friendly with the intruder. They like the usual things like playing with toys, fetch, and they're pretty energetic. And in case you were worried, they seem to get along with other dogs just fine.
