Too many things don't add up for 9/11 to be a terrorist attack.
My video has a valid point yet no one seems to have made a point about it. Seems if it does raise some questions we should skip it.
Yea, not like it was explained in a "for dummies" fashion 1000 times over on the internet, newspapers, magazines and tv since what, a couple days after the attack with a practically guaranteed refresher every year during September?
Or you could have just thought about it for 2 minutes instead of being another conspiracy theorist sheep.
Yeah, I'd say if marrying that secular western guy/girl is what makes you happy (b/c you love them and not b/c your parents arrange it then sure thats a lot better). Also, yeah I would characterize the west as the victim based on how you framed it. Why do we have to cover up our women, hide our pork, and tone down our alcohol consumption so that poor little Ahmad doesn't get corrupted when his bourgeoisie parents send him abroad to experience the world. It's not our fault that your culture/religion is so repressive that all Arab youths sent abroad end up living in sin in the west or returning home guiltridden about experiencing life.
But really, Western actions have only a singular part to play in you hating us. I'd place an equal share on the hatred inherent in Islam that is currently stoked by the cycle cadsuane mentioned.
Except that those who would believe the "conspiracy theory" view would think the people who believe this are the real sheep.Originally Posted by Aru

Without going into detail about trying to convince anyone of anything, I would caution that taking everything you hear on the news at face value is a huge mistake. Challenge what you are told until it holds up under your own tests and investigations. Critical Thinking 101.
Yes, lets take the expert analysis of career structural engineers and put that aside and get my information some anonymous, unverifiably qualified internet source. I have yet to see anything from a credible source that goes against the general consensus of what caused the towers to collapse. Do you think the government planted explosives in the WTC too?
The moon doesn't exist, i tried throwing shit at it and never hit it

Yes like the bigoted anti-Islamic/anti-Arab propaganda that pervades 'the West'.
Not sure why you're emphasizing this. If some Arab country was occupying the US, there would obviously be tension and hatred. There is no Arab occupation though. It's the other way around.
So whatever hate exists over there, should be put in context.
People don't talk the same way. In Israel, it would be easy to point out racism amongst Jews and Arabs, but that's just how it is there.
The difference is you'll see Hamas cartoons, or other 'anti-West' (anti-Israel and the US) propaganda, but you won't see the stuff we're doing.
How we depict Arabs in film is an example. How we cover the 'War on Terror', and our actions in and of themselves are a testament to the same kind of 'propaganda' you're implying is unique to the Arabs.
You mad?
Anyways on a more serious note what would it take for people to believe that one of these popular conspiracy theories were in-fact was what really happened?
Lets just take 9/11 with everything that happened.
You seen that video I posted, where are the plane parts, what about that fuel and the 3 frames from the pentagon camera? All this which isn't supporting anything they have said happened(747 hit the pentagon) yet people will still deny it and try to justify it any ways they can rather then accept any other idea then what they have been told from the get go.
I mean if people are still going to look at that and not ask themselves if there might be more to it then that, then I guess no matter how damming the evidence, no matter who comes forward and says they had a hand in it or whatever we will only believe what the media feeds us.
Am I a person who runs around believing every conspiricy theory I hear? No. I think a lot of them are stupid and have no basis for it but what I did do is look at all the things that 9/11 had going both for the "Terrorist Attack" and the "Government did it" theory and with as much gray territory there is on the matter I don't see how someone wouldn't at least question a few things about it.
The conspiricy begins when the norms of similar events are not followed and exceptions are made along with excuses for what happened instead of trying to explain them.
Case in point http://www.infowars.com/ex-cia-chief...-firefighters/
I don't recall any other terrorist attack or bombing where the people who helped at the scene being told to not tell what they saw which if it happened the way everyone says it did would only reinforce a terrorist attack.
The funny thing is no matter what I say I am just going to get flamed and insulted because if I question anything the news says I am an idiot.
I don't see why questioning 9/11 makes someone a kook.
There are conspiracy theorists and then there are people who are asking reasonable questions. That being said, there is a stigma attached to questioning these sort of world-changing events.
It's not the event itself, because for example, new information comes out all the time. We didn't know how many Native Americans had died during the period of European colonization, until the 1970s.
But does anyone give a fuck if we deny the virtual extinction of Native Americans? Nope. There is no stigma, or social pressure associated w/ antagonizing that 'group'. Every group has political capital.
Raul Hilberg - the 'dean' of Holocaust studies - was hounded early on in his career for writing about the Holocaust - by other Jews.
A lot of this stuff is POLITICAL. You all recall the whole Turkey-Armenian Genocide resolution thing? The ADL came out against it, because it wouldn't be good for Israel-Turkish relations.
Well, now things have changed a bit since Gaza:
(Via Mondoweiss, MJ Rosenberg writing at HuffPo)
So yea, it's funny I guess? Because it's 'crazy' Ahmedinejad, but it's also very shallow to think these events aren't completely politicized and used as ideological and rhetorical bludgeons.Last time [2007 vote], the chairman of the panel, the late Tom Lantos of California, did not sponsor the bill — but he ended up voting for it, after agonizing about it in his opening remarks. So too did the other six Jews who voted to call the massacres a genocide. And some of them explicitly agonized because of Turkey’s good relations (at least then) with Israel. "This has been tough for me," Gary Ackerman of New York said then. Eliot Engel of New York voted "with a heavy heart."
This time, Lantos’ successor as chairman, Howard Berman of California, did not dither at all and, in fact, co-sponsored the bill. And despite his urgings, it passed by a much tighter margin than in 2007: 23-22 yesterday as opposed to 27-21 in 2007. (It never reached the full House in that session.) This year, [Florida's Robert] Wexler’s out of Congress, and all seven Jews on the panel were in the "aye" column.
So what does this really tell us about the Israel lobby? It says, first of all, that its frontline — Congress’ Jewish members (and please, this is not unusual, Hispanic groups look to Hispanic members as their frontline, etc.) — will at times defy the lobby’s wishes. They did so in 2007, when pro-Israel groups lobbied very, very hard against the resolution.
Fuck, my secret's out.
No. Allah hates fags and infidels.
Serious version: Well I hear there's a burgeoning fag scene in Saudi Arabia right now despite the everpresent risk of a fucking beheading. I guess for some folks it's a rock and a hard place situation despite the unpleasantness of abandoning god and country.
Don't mistake me calling you an idiot as an attempt at victimizing white people or the west. Making fun of you and the pro-arab anti-jew anti-west scriptural literalist viewpoint that you so thoroughly represent doesn't make me a Zionist or an advocate for American imperialism, if only because I'm a fucking Canadian which I can't believe I actually had to point out to your stupid ass. I'll help you out; the point of that hypothetical anecdote (which I'm willing to bet describes you fairly accurately) was meant to illustrate the false dichotomy between the virtue of religious middle eastern austerity (that's you) and the moral bankruptcy of secular western hedonism. Yes, there's a middle ground, yes, both are ultimately cultural myths, and yes, you're a bigot for subscribing to it even if it's due to your arab victim complex.
