is wotlk pvp anything different than BC pvp? i hit 2200 s4 with frost mage, but i quit like a week later. shit just was not worth the time investment. i had something to prove, proved it, and moved on. cant get suckered by game manufacturers into playing their shit excuse for fun

I didn't play until Wrath came out.

But everybody says the game is a lot more fast paced now, any semi-competent team can literally global you if they line up their burst right. 100 > 0 all at once, no warning, no time to react, BOOM DEAD. There's enough CC to keep entire teams locked down indefinitely and all it takes is one second to kill someone. It's kind of stressful not being able to make any mistakes Or losing 20+ points to a low rated counter comp and literally winning 0 points from some games(a lot of games actually, it's a common occurrence) when you get into the higher ratings because your opponents were too low.

Ratings are a lot more inflated now. Gladiator cut off is about 2650~ and I've only been able to get up to 2500 T_T They removed the ability to get titles and shoulders and tier 2 weapons from 2v2. They've buffed resilience so that if you're capped you'll take 30% less damage from all sources and 30% less damage from crits. Crits get double dipped so if you'd hit 8K on a PVE mob you'd only hit like 4K on a player and then a lot of classes have damage mitigation talents, so you can safely assume you'd be hitting for maybe 2-3K.

Blizz decided honor farming takes too long so they're doubling the amount of honor gained from everything next patch. The new battleground Isle of Conquest sucks dick. My Battlemaster title had Justicar removed from the meta two months after I finished it so it literally takes less than half the time investment.

yeah all of that sounds gay/similar. i played RMP in 3s, so it was still pretty much the same story (sheeps/blinds/screams, get a shatter on someone for 50-60%, pet frost bolt+anything 1kish from the rogue and a sw:d would kill anything). RMP had so much technical timing management, it was fucking awesome. then cleave came out and it was just like, oh ok hes going to just keep mortal striking meoh fuck im stunned nope jk im dead.

i just stopped playing because it was so empty once i got to the top. got tired of the same bullshit over and over again. havent looked back since

oh dude, dont get me wrong, that fucking hookah bar is the shit. its the first time ive been there. literally 3-5 hq bitches at every booth, like 15 total booths. they arent even booths really, they just are called that when you buy them. its 4 fucking dope ass couches in a square with a dj and smoke utensils everywhere. there was also cake.

As a priest, I can't play without a class that has defensive cooldowns or the ability to heal or else I'll die in a strangulate + bladestorm. I died in a blanket CS + bladestorm the other day, shit's awesome. I can tank everything completely fine except for rogues and warriors, unhealable damage spamming instant abilities while I'm snared with no way to get away (priest being the only healer that can't go immune to snares/roots via freedom/shape shifting/ghost wolf) clearly being "outplayed".
