Congratulations you'll cause so much muscle atrophy you'll look like a starving ethiopian marathon runner. Because as everyone knows spending 10hrs in the gym is the best way to look buff.
All the added weigh does is put unnecessary added strain on your tendons and joints. Ever notice how heavier ppl have tons of joint and tendon issues, well guess what, you're heavier. And you'll add absolutely NOTHING to you overall fitness, you want an iron lung, windsprints. want to look like you lift weights, lift weights.
I only run with weights on my arms for the upper-body workout. Back in HS when I had a personal trainer he didn't say anything against it. Now, back then I was only using 2.5 weights and since have moved up to 5 on each arm, but that's only adding 10 pounds to my total frame, is that really that much more stress? I've never had any joint/tendon issues, but I know that doesn't say anything about the future
WTF I can't believe they even make 50lb wrist weights????
I don't even... 50 fucking pounds??
Thats gd more weight than the largest standard olympic barbell plates (at 45lbs)...
I can't even imagine carrying that kind of weight around for any extended period.
You watch too much naruto bro.
First thing I thought of when I saw this thread was Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
To answer your question... This will not make it so you can shoot shit out of your hands.
This is the truth.
Also: seriously, be careful with ankle/wrist weights, I'd say roughly 1/10th of what you can curl/calf press 30 times for 5 sets to exhaustion tops (for most people this'll be 1~5 lbs) and don't do anything too strenuous on your joints.
I used to ride bikes and do punching drills with just 5 lb weights on each limb, and a 20 lb weight in a backpack. That shit wears your ass out, and can really damage your limbs if you aren't careful. I actually gripped them while punching, letting them slide even a little bit hurt like FUCK the next day. Incidentally I only weigh like 155 lbs, maybe 160 if I haven't taken a shit in a couple days, I mostly did it to get my muscles oxygenated quicker than running a bajillion miles like I had to at that point.
Really though, thread should be remade in honor of Cuneyt Arkin, HYAAA, BOOORAAUGGGHHHHH, KIIIAAAAIIIIIIIIII!
