That definitely spoiled it...
That definitely spoiled it...
Don't be dumb.
If you throw down the scene on the table like that, without the gravity of the film in its entirety to support its meaning, then you discount its ending and can set someone up for disappointment.
Yes, its spoils it
There was a new trailer for Iron Man? And I missed it? Ffffuuu. I changed the channel early.
Really happy for Jeff Bridges. Personally i thought he was robbed in '85 for Starman. Having to wait almost 40 years from his first nomination, it's well deserved. I tip my cap to the The Dude.
Yay Christoph Waltz won! ^-^
Is Ryan Seacrest short or is Kathyrn Bigelow just really tall? Showing the red carpet interview things on TV here at the moment.
Nice to see Avatar didn't collect the best picture award, James Cameron and his wife Skeletor were getting on my nerves in all these interviews.
edit: double post
I rolled my eyes at the end - it turned into hero-worshipping bullshit, with the hard-driving nu-redneck rock and everything. FUCK YEAH AMERICAN MILITARY!
Spoiler: show
Anyway, I'm just glad that the beautiful and talented Academy Award Winning Sandra Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
In honor of such a talented beautiful actress, I think it's time for a tribute song.

Still appalled with best Cinematography. What a joke. Real happy for Hurt Locker, though.
I was looking at the list for best actress and I knew that Bullock would win it, I was talking to my gf just prior to the bit about the best actresses, she had thought it had been announced already but the oscars website didn't show a statue by the names yet
in any case:
Sandra Bullock – still hasn't won an oscar, never gonna get a part like this again (barring win)
Helen Mirren – has won already I'm pretty sure?
Carey Mulligan – yeah no, unless you're german-guy-from-inglorious-basterds-good..
Gabourey Sidibe – sorry baby, they gave yours to mo'nique cuz she's a comedian
Meryl Streep – this would be what, 4 now? let the others play even though you were clearly the best, we know you're good hun
Spoiler: show
also very happy at the music win for Up, what a beautiful little movie
just realized Up In The Air didn't win a thing
it got robbed imo![]()
up in the air wasnt nearly as good as Hurt Locker and I mean come on, reitman is a good director but he gets his knob polished too much cause of who his dad is.
huh, i thought he's actually a bit underrated because of who his dad is; i wonder if he's getting tired of others bringing up his old man every time he is mentioned
but anyway, it isn't about him, the movie was excellent and i thought it at least deserved a script award
script award it was up against Precious and the script/novel were better.
if everything it was up against was better, then how was it robbed?
