Pokemon games are good but not the series.
Digimon was more action packed.

I'd say they were equal and irrelevant to each other. The pokemon games were good, the media spawned from it. Digimon (here anyway) spawned from the media and had some games follow. My digimon nostalgia is from the show and my pokemon one is from the games (even if the [FIRST] series was decent.)

Digimon do definitely rock though.

And while I know this is nostalgia speaking and the time period was "right" to be watching it growing up, I feel ashamed to have just written this post on so many levels.

Anyone who watched that show for Ash was gay. Misty and Brock had 10X better story lines and Pokemon than Ash. Hell, even Team Rocket.
