Gifuckingnormus, would've been a better word. I actually created a replica out of paper to see if it would fit inside my case, lol. (Engineers and our free time...)

I've had it running youtube videos while I work on my laptop. Since full screen stays full screen even when working in another window it is pretty nice.
If someone could get this to work with the raspberry pi, it could get really interesting. Powered USB hub + this + pi = stand alone system?

I was honestly about to buy a 660 ti on the 31st. But this deal is quite tempting. I will probably get a 7950 if Nvidia if doesn't make a response in time. I am a Nvidia Fanboy, but I can't deny the value of the promotion and the performance of the new drivers. If they are what I think they are. If not, I'll get Denny Green.
Bummer, I just ordered a 7870 yesterday. I wonder if I'll be lucky enough to qualify.
Cancel/Return it if not. It started yesterday too btw.
I posted this in the Windows 8 thread, but copying here for those that don't check that thread:
I didn't see this mentioned earlier. If anyone is planning on buying Windows 8, MS has a better deal than I've seen on Newegg or elsewhere. As long as you own a valid key for XP or higher, you can purchase an upgrade to 8 Pro for $39.99.

And add a free Media Center upgrade:

So question..... I ordered a copy of the windows 8 upgrade at micro center for $40. I was wondering if I could toss it on my desktop that has a non-legit copy of windows 7 on it?
Picked it up mainly for my laptop, which has a OEM copy of windows 7 on it. However if I can throw it on my desktop too, I'll grab a 2nd copy.....
I'm in the download process now, so I'll hopefully be able to say more in a little bit. I ran the download on my work PC and it hasn't asked for any keys yet. I don't have a legit 7 key, but I do have an XP key, so I'm assuming it will ask for that key during install. I hope it didn't already tie itself to my work PC's key...
Update: I just installed Windows 8 on another PC at work (off the network so it can't activate). I did a full install from an iso, not an upgrade. It never asked for an old key, only my new key. So I have to guess that it either will ask during activation, or it verified I had a valid key when I downloaded from my work PC. I don't see any reason you shouldn't be able to install this on any PC you choose.
Edit 2: MS says "You'll need to run the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant on the PC you want to upgrade". This sounds to me like it verifies a valid OS before it lets you purchase. So as long as you download where you're eligible for an upgrade you should be able to install anywhere. And if activation complains that it's different hardware, you use the old "call MS and tell them something died and you had to replace it" trick.
What's a better deal?
7850 1GB for $149.99 after rebate card or 7870 2GB for $209.99 after rebate card?
Newegg had the 660 OC for $206.99 before $15 rebate. Might be over though
