Any eyes on a good deal on a SSD? I figure I'll try this OS-on-a-SSD thing for the Win10 upgrade coming up.

Doh just ordered an XFX 290x sunday for 280 after rebate and promo, oh well. But I got a dell gift car about to expire so might as well pick up that ssd I think and get another card.
When I get home, I'll need to do some measuring and checking what I have. This would be a huge upgrade from my current 750i. I know I have a 750w psu but I'll need to try and see whats connected into it.
The reviews on newegg are hit and miss but most recently DOAs so if anyone plans to get it, test it fast within the refund period.

They have an amazon price listed on that page but the amazon price doesn't match amazon's website? I've never heard of jet.com before.
pls 2 b advise on a good full size case with dust filters. i have four shedding pets. dust is a maaajor problem with my current case.
I have a Raidmax Vampire that I love. I opened it up once to slap in a second drive about 9 months after I bought it and there was practically no dust/hair in there, and I have 3 cats that seem to shed their body weight in fur every week.
Jet is brand new and just launched this week: http://money.cnn.com/2015/07/20/tech...nch/index.html
The ram was indeed a pricing error and people had their orders cancelled unfortunately. Buffy nailed it with Jet. It appears they're trying to be competition for Amazon. Currently, you can get a free 12 months of their membership by entering promo code CURISMA when registering for an account. Go to: https://jet.com/. Click register, enter your information, and then click the hyperlink for having a promo code and use CURISMA.

VisionTek R9 390 8GB gpu - $255.61
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Visiontek-90...item51d44a9632
Seller is a legit business so nothing to be worried about there. I've used a VisionTek 7950 and it performed fine. This could be a really nice card for someone looking at 4k in the future (due to the 8gb vram) for crossfire. Price seems nice too.
After looking at some comparisons of the 390 vs 290x, that deal on the VisionTek I linked earlier most likely would be the better purchase. I couldn't find any specs on size regarding the VisionTek card from VisionTek or Newegg. It's out of stock right this minute, but I'd check back. The price is right and no mail in rebate. If I didn't already have crossfire 290x and was in the market for a new card I would be all over a 390 sub $275.
What case do you have? Are you just needing a new case or an entire revamp of your system?
It's pretty much a revamp. I'm rocking an old school Dell XPS 8300 with a second gen i7 and Nvidia 560ti. It's been keeping a good pace with everything but it's time I stopped bottlenecking myself and make some slow adjustments to later through into a full on machine. I was also reading into the 390 as most reviews put it at a slightly lower performance but a damn good choice for something with a micro-atx build.
I had a Fractal Design Define Mini which is a Micro ATX and had a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 which is 12.28" long in it. Just pick something that can house a longer gpu and you'll be fine!
