He's got good flow, but his lyrics aren't even close to Mos Def and Kweli. But Im definitely interested to see where he goes.

I can't say I really like any other rappers that are just coming out. I thought Wiz Khalifa could spit, but the only song that made it big was "Say Yeah" (which did not show his skills) and then he went back underground.

So I got fed up with most of this "hip hop/rap" shit that is coming out these days and turned on some Pandora. I am curious what you guys think of groups like :

Atmosphere
Binary Star
Eyedea & Abilities
Jurassic 5
Brother Ali

among others. I really like all 5 of the above as far as stuff that is new to me.

Binary Star is good. Haven't really listened to the others.

Edit: Oh, and can someone explain to me why the hell Lil Wayne is so famous? I just don't get it. He is not a great rapper, his voice is damn near impossible to understand, and for music just to dance in clubs to...his shit is terrible compared to others out there. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills or something.

no radio rap makes sense anymore, and the only good rap is radio rap. duh
