Nice, I was wondering what was up with that voucher, but I got a US SE ID and an EU voucher or will SE not give a fuck this time on region crap? Was quite surprised the NA 360 version of FF13 works on EU machines, so I'm hoping XD

Not sure if the vouchers are region specific, it does direct you to an EU website though. The beta and SE accounts -are- region specific though - you can only sign up for US beta with your US FFXI account. Same deal here, my SE account is US, I had to make a seperate EU one for this. Well, actually, I made an EU one originally, then found out that I couldn't link my US FFXI account to that.

It shouldn't matter if you have an active FFXI account linked for the PS3 beta code though, at least that's the way I read it. Seems like this is for another stage of beta at a later date, and it'll still be random selection, but this time the criteria is "must have an FF13 code" instead of "must have an active FFXI account"

Anyone have any pics or info on the "exclusive" DLC you get with the 360 system bundle? I haven't been able to find anything so I'm assuming it's just a token for the avatar shit that's on the marketplace.

I'm raging that the HDD has FF13 labeled on it, makes me wanna get rid of my elite and pick it up just for the goddamned hard drive.

I already own the game on PS3. -_-

and hey guys, dont try to copy paste the code since the bar is 20 char max and the copy-pasta code have spaces in it, it will only paste 16 char you'll ended up freaking yourself out.

I bought the PS3 version at the GameStop here at midnight, and the card inside gave me the bonus code for 14 after I clicked the "register code" button on the SE Members site.

You register the 16 digit code on the SE premier site then you get a 20 digit code for the item/beta.

Aye, the codes aren't really the same, but I think there are some PS3 codes out there that won't give the FF14 code. (i can has clarification prz?)

On SE's FFXIII page, you enter the 16 digit code you got with the game

when you finished registering on the same page you will get a 20 digit code, you take that code, then click the link below to access the FFXIV Beta registration page, where you enter the 20 digit code

Of course the 20digit code is only for PS3 users

xbox360 only get a Costume for FFXIV iirc


edit : that 20 digit code will also be used when FFXIV is lunched for you to claim your special item (still for ps3 users)

If I already have been selected for the FF14 alpha from the first sign up, can I still use this code for the in-game item? Or will I run the risk of being removed from the Alpha and be re-entered for a "chance" at the beta?

AFAIK, keep the code, I doubt they'd void your acceptance just because you registered. I would post that on their beta forums after they're up and running in a few days though. Prolly get the best answer there, but I don't imagine people will need the code again until they release FFXIV.

I may not do it though, im wondering if when i register the code it will appear in SE's face like "this copy was purchased at blockbuster as a rental item" then they go, oh, some kid stole this etc.

It is only avatar items. I was able to snag a FF XIII faceplate last night, for when I get an xbax later this year.
