Can link to any SE ID.

And iirc, once linked to a SE ID, the token can't be unlinked. If you call them/unhook token from SE ID on the site to use your ID without a token, the token will become useless. You'd have to order a new one for another SE ID. This is me going from memory when the shit was new, somebody feel free to correct me.

Did the page that gives you the ps3 beta code say anything about the code being linked already to your account? I don't want to use it on my account since I'd much rather get in on the pc version, but if I gave the ps3 code to a friend and they used it, would SE null me out of the pc pool?

It's reasonably safe to say that since it's registering a product under your SE ID, that yes, the promo code is linked to that particular SE ID. Would be interesting if it wasn't, but I wouldn't bet on it.

SE member site and SE ID doesnt share the same database so, when XIV will be retail and you will login using your SE ID to start playing I suppose you could use whatever promo code you have to receive the special item. It should work like the old WorldPass way.

my guess is its the same exclusive item that JP players who bought the first LE press of FFXIII are going to get.

so anyone who bought JP FFXIII and doesnt wanna take part in PS3 beta or is already in probably doesnt have to worry about missing out that in-game item since u'd probably get it from the JP side promo code too..

i have both and.. already 'in the club' lol. still figuring out what to do with it

The mail I received from SE with the XIV promo code says I can use it only one time for trying get into beta AND receive the special item in-game when the retail version comes out... Not beta OR special item!

With the XIV item confirmed, I'm gonna try to buy a PS3 XIII this week, hopefully Monday. I'll ask them if it's from their original XIII shipment, but I should be safe, yeah? Anyone know how long until subsequent shipments (that won't have the code) generally arrive?

not sure but i think you can only get them with the collectors edition in england not sure about else where

the quantity for codes is limited.. according to SE after i registered my code. Im sure if you pick it up at walfart or somewhere like an electronics store they will have the first shipment copies still. I tried blockbuster but it appears the employees there took all the codes and are selling them on craigslist.. no one is buying them though, im sure.

got to love ass holes funny thing is if you had the proof you could easily have the guys/girls fired for taking them

If you write a letter to corporate stating that it would be the best bet. However, with how blockbuster is going under they might just not care. I don't think taking away someone's income for living is worth it though, but they're definitely being dousche's nonetheless

right? well, they are old co-workers.. they gave me crap "dont you wish you still worked here?!" but i told em theyre just jealous i can afford to buy the game and they cant!

How long did it take you guys to receive the email after you registered the ffxiii code? I made my new application Saturday with the beta key and still no email. I did sign up for the pc test version instead of the ps3, so i don't know if that made a difference.

So i went to http://member.eu.square-enix.com it asked for my email address i put it in and I'm waiting for the email back. it's been over 10 minutes. is this normal?
