Ah alright, thanks. I tried to do the mission to gain access to that area back there, but couldn't find the boss.
i'm chpt 11 mission 20 when does colored jellys become avalible?
what does stagger lock on the taming pole mean?
What level I create the omega weapon from my flamberge?
Flamberge caps at 61
from what i've read elsewhere yeah pretty much this, person with stagger lock can get the stagger gauge 99.9% full, but somebody else has to push it over the edge.
i'm still unsure how i should go about deciding what weapons to upgrade for each person. i figure the best would be to enhance what i have my party members already doing, but there are some effects on weapons i don't have and i don't know what they all do. id hate to start upgrading something now and then get a weapon later that fits better.
those charts from the guide doesn't really do much, Ironstrike II doesn't really tell me much on what it does.
Put the Stagger Lock weapon on whoever is mostly going to be Com for you, Com's barely move the stagger bar anyway, they just keep it steady, so it's not much loss to have them unable to stagger a mob. Unless you have a group that can do rav/rav/rav baseline, that's the best way to go, imo.
I'm going Light/Fang/Hope, so I'm upgrading Lionheart, Taming Pole and Hawkeye. Light will be Com/Rav mostly so a balanced weapon is best and Quick Stagger will make up for Stagger Lock and Hawkeye is the highest Magic weapon for Hope. This is letting me upgrade Hawkeye early and it's kinda funny for my healer to be such a pro DPS, heh.
Sooo changed my mind on lionheart. Swapped Light back into lead role to play with Army of One when I realized the ai doesn't use thier unique skills, and holy shit does Enkindler rape with that skill. Chain gauge spikes so damn fast lol.
Just found this guid today while looking for pictures of the Maps:

Is it worth upgrading more than one weapon per character? In other words, if you know which weapon you plan to upgrade to the final form, should I bother upgrading other weapons for a particular character?
I'm currently on Chapter 5, and upgraded Light's initial weapon to level 10, but I'm reading that it isn't the best weapon to max out, so continuing would be a waste of materials, no?
I used to believe that no upgrading weapons would be of no help but in the later stages of the game Gran Pulse and on, the difference between monster stats and yours is actually a pretty big damn gap. So doing grinding for CP and also grinding up your weapon upgrades isn't a bad idea. I initially wasn't going to do it until I kept getting my ass handed to me by bosses and monsters. Probably going to spend all day today grinding CP for more stats as well as items for weapon upgrades. I say level whichever weapon has a good benefit. I can't say out of experience all the the weapons I have done but I have Lightning's Gladius(sp?) at level 23 right now. And I do have tons of components I can use for it to see what happens when it hits max of what 26 and then 3rd stage = final weapon? I'll keep you updated. i know I could use strategy sites but eh trying to refrain from doing that my first time through the game.
is there any easy way to see what catalyst you need for each * transformation, or do i have to keep 1 of each on me at all times?
and is adamantite or dark matter used to transform stuff?
So from what I've been reading it looks like the best 2 weapons to upgrade to Omega for Lightning are the Lionheart and the Axis Blade?
