I been sticking to RAV lightning all the time recently because I gotten use to it and it helps build stagger with COM fang. Once mobs go into stagger I swap to COM/COM and keep the mob juggled and rape it :D

Does anyone know how much HP is taken off for Sacrificial Circle and Snow's ultimate weapon from upgrading sacrificial circle?
I am totally confused about upgrading. I just got 3 gold nuggets and want to upgrade got fang's weapon to star level and have no idea what item i need to transform it. Likewise goes for any othe weapon or accessory. Is there a guide somewhere that can tell me this?
Perhaps if you read the thread, there might be answers to your question earlier on.
But if you're too lazy to do this, I've done it for you.
little late but i found some scans of the guide for the weapons

Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the thread, but I noticed that certain items give more EXP towards certain weapons. Is there a database for this yet for the most efficient upgrading?
All the components have a base exp, and all weapons have a rank. The exp discrepancy comes from the weapon rank. For example, Ultracompact reactor gives 52,000 base experience to a rank 3 weapon. It will give 20,000 to a rank 11 weapon(which all "Ultimate Weapons" are).
Someone posted this before: http://ff-13.info/. Click on the weapons and find what you're upgrading. It will tell you the total experience needed to take whatever weapon you're looking for to max. At that point I'd save, upgrade, and see which combo of components get you to max with the least amount of items used. Reload and upgrade when you figure it out.
The ultracompact reactors are the best exp/gil ratio component, but you generally don't get access to buy them until later in the game. They cost 50k a pop.
The discrepancy I notice comes from two rank1 weapons. The difference being like 117 vs 120 per component, so Im fairly sure theres more to it than that.
Does the excess exp spent to max out a weapon carryover to the next upgrade?
Also what the fuck was SE thinking when they put in a weapon for snow that has the same magic, but less Strength than a weapon in the game already, not to mention it can't break on top of that.
Actually I rechecked I was wrong about the base exp for the components(I'm not sure what the base for everything is. The guide gives an average), but everything else should be correct. Don't confuse rank with level, they are different. For example, I just checked on a level one Partisan and a level one Ninurta. Both weapons are rank 3 weapons, level 1 and every component gives the same exp value.
What weapon did you guys upgrade for Fang?
I was running Sazh/Light/Van for a syn/sab but now that I have 3 sprint shoes for auto haste, was going to sub out Sazh for Fang... double sab seems retarded so that pops hope in for Fang. Problem is, Vanille has improved debuffing and I'm afraid to lose that. Love that sab shit though, will it be a problem not upgrading an improved debuffing item (whichever that is).
Also: does conisseurs catalog only work if the character wearing it gets killing blow?
no. But they must be alive at the end
item isn't work 100k =/ lol.
Back to original question. What did you guys upgrade for fang?
The situations where the catalog will not work only happen when you put it on a character you're not controlling. The character with the catalog has to be alive and on the battlefield when the fight ends (meaning they can't be dead, or you can't finish the fight with your eidolon).
I upgraded the Taming Pole.
most people go with Taming Pole, although Gae Bolg isn't a terrible choice if you're just using her as SEN
I plan to use all 3 roles so I guess taming would be the better choice.
Running Light as COM/RAV in a fang+van (soon to be hope) team in chapter 11.
Just got Lightning's Enkindler to level 17, running that + sprint shoes + aurora scarf + Morale talisman.
ATB rate II + Auto Haste + First strike (start with full ATB) + auto Bravery. So much fun, I really regret upgrading my gladius to a level 20 helter skelter. My next playthrough will for sure be setup like this, wish I had done it sooner. My STR has suffered (obviously big difference) but my magic didn't budge at all, and since lightning is RAV just as much as she is COM it works well.
Probably will take Enk a little higher and stop, since the next time I want to upgrade for her it will probably be Lionheart > omega. Although the idea of 6ATB gauges and ATB II does sound like a fun way to go.
Yeah loving ATB II with haste boots, first attack scarf and auto bravery.
I might stick with this. Shes RAV so much and the stats arent too bad of a difference. Level22 Enkindler is like 90ish str less than level 20 HelterSkelter, and actually about 10 magic more. Enk is definitely better, shes hitting things just as hard - which was my main concern - and attacking more often which more than blows away the gladius upgrades. Obviously, the Gladius Omega is absolute rapage... but since I'll be spamming army and running rav and med alot, this may be my final choice. Lionheart is the only one that could change it with quick stagger.
I'll go Taming with Fang even though I'd like the improved debuffing, seems like it could help to have it since she typically starts fights as SAB... and I guess hope will keep rocking Hawkeyes. Although atm, hope isn't even in my party. Vanille is still offering more at chapter11 with belladonna wand. Double sab is retarded but at the same time, casting like 9 deprotects pretty much garuntees one to land haha.
