The Ochu at one of the outside area actually gives you better CP rate. Another area to get great CP is the "pyramid scheme" mission area, one of them has tons of cactaurs and bugbears that give you tons of CP.

the spot in chapter 9 is really nice for early money/CP. I only farmed a little at the Estheim residence in Ch7 and the 5x Metrodrones in Ch8, but being able to get Cp and money in Ch9 makes upgrading weapons pretty easy.
i'm suprised and a little saddened that that spot is as good as it is even after you beat the game
there might be a better spot in a later area because there is a point where there are other big monsters fighting each other (trying not spoil things here...) so they actually might prove to be better, but I like this spotGP music is so pretty and relaxing.
There is a little area on GP during chapter 11 to the Southwest of Western Benchland populated by those little imp monsters(called Leyak and Ransomething). They are hilariously easy to stagger, preemptive strike, and have little HP as it is. You can run a little gambit there and get ~20k CP/5minutes depending on how developed you are. I am not sure their respawn condition, but running in a little circle avoiding the large group of "Ransomethings" in the corner, and they will respawn on their own quickly(there is no down time running away so they respawn or anything).
Not sure if that is any better than the other things suggested on GP, but that's what I used to cap a few roles. Remember to kill the Leyaks first!
Edit: This was during the story progression still. Not post-game.
A friend of mine told me Adamantoise in Eden is 40k CP a kill? I call bullshit, but does anyone know for sure? That seems super broken with that Golden Egg thing...
I could be wrong, but with the CP costs of non-specific roles, I can't imagine you'd cap all three just by simply doing the quests in the game; and I am very much a trophy whore.
Getting the extra crystariums for everyone is going to take forever. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to farm 999,999 CP in the "spot" in GP Archlyte Steppe. Not too bad but it's just a ton of CP to grind erghhh.
it's the one that's been mentioned, the behemoth and the white tiger thingy preemptive strike fight
oh ok o: Will look out for that one.
Frankly, if you can kill those mini-turtles, I'd recommend grinding your CP with them rather than the behemoth/tiger. Because you'd be farming gil + dark matter at the same time. You don't want to grind CP but still without any gil to upgrade your weapons...
And 80k CP a kill is pretty nice too ;o
But -how- do you kill those Adamantoises? Soon as I get into the battle they stomp on the ground, hit for 9000, done deal. Of course the ONE TIME I'd EVER use Float in a Final Fantasy game, this one doesn't have it.
