The Ochu trick won't work in NA/EU versions, they made it so that you can't pre-empt it.
Hence the clip I posted.
Can you come back to Pulse after Ch.11?
I think it was said in another topic that you can.
I advanced the story and I'm in Ch.12 now, so hopefully they let you come back later..
I think before (or after) the final boss, there's a Cie'th waystone you can use to get back to Pulse. Well... it's something along those details.
I don't know if this is part of the story or not, but Chapter 11:
Spoiler: show
Ah ok, thanks for that. Let's see if I get the same stuff as you or if it's random. Though... probably going to do more missions before I start moving on with the story.
You unlock a few more missions as you progress through chap 11 still, about 5 are part of the tower part, and so far I've unlocked 2 more after completing it. One of them being in the area I was just talking about.
It's in Oerba, that machine is in one of the houses at Vanille/Fang's hometown...
Definitely not a requirement, but if you find it in the 2nd floor of that house the game will tell you to find 5 items to repair it (and all 5 appear on your map, so you know where to collect them... one won't though, but just keep going down the road and you'll find it eventually.)
It's an easy miniquest, and damn well worth it.
Yeah the one that doesn't appear on your minimap drops from the Vampire between the tree roots down the ramp by the house you find the robot inside. I didn't know this and spent so long looking for it and since I skipped those fights (just ran by the Vampire every time) I didn't know his drop included it. Hopefully this helps whoever decides to take up the quest and can't seem to get that last item.
I actually meant a different one that DOES show on your map, however you won't see it until you go a little further ahead since it's a little ways off... but it does appear on the map eventually.
But yeah, that Vampire one was the first one I got actually heh... didn't even look for it, simply fought everything.
That's how I found it also, just fighting everything along the path like I usually do. I hate that one mob that uses Multicast and puts that shield up >.>
There HAS to be a better method to grinding CP than the behemoth, right?.... I read somewhere if you haven't completed the game you could farm the wadislaus by the save point in orphan's cradle for 32,000CP/min....
Where the heck is the stone for mission 55, I can't find it :<
Edit:
Eh, ok, found a video showing where it is.
