Her running animation reminds me of how you run in FF11 when you eat one of the mithra kid costume cakes - has the same bizarre arms sticking out at right angles kind of dealie going on.

I actually like all of the characters (Hope's a bit angsty), Snow you can see how well-intentioned he is and shit just keeps going more and more FUBARed for him - he's just a dopey git really, Vanille (if you gag her) is the mandatory really chirpy one that it seems to be a law to have in FFs after the start of the Playstation era (but at least she hasn't fucked off and stolen all my materia like that sodding ninja did).

I like Sazh the best, followed by Vanille, Lightning, Snow and Hope. Haven't seen Fang much, but she seems cool. I know Hope is angsty and whiny, but he's a kid with (what I assume) no fighting experience being dragged into this conflict after watching his mother die. It's a hard thing to relate to by normal standards and while I find him annoying at times, I don't blame the character for being that way. Snow and Lightning are kinda the same, they lost someone they cared about, so Lightning is gonna be aggressive and rude. No idea where Snow gets his ideals from though, seems so out there.

Also, I'd gag Vanille.

I think I'll make a second character thread for when people had more play time and gotten to beat the game See if they like someone more than another. They seem to be changing a lot from the beginning.

I don't understand why people are so irked by Vanille's voice/accent. It's really tame compared to a lot of similar-style characters. I think the accent is what helps it, and her general peculiarity makes her seem more-than-meets-the-eye than someone like Rikku.

Voted for Vanille, though I dunno I probably like Sazh or Lightning better. Tough choice definitely. They did an amazing job with all of the characters this time around.

Hope really comes around and seems to take lead on quite a few of the conversations they have... he's grown a lot during the course of the game. I really can't say I dislike anyone, although Light still get my vote for favorite.

I like Sazh a lot (the voice actor is from Crank I believe). I mean usually I avoid people with afros but he seems nice.
