Trophies/Achievements

What've you got so far? At this point my only trophies seem to be story-related. I've heard a lot of the optional ones you can't even get until you beat the game.

All mine are chapter related so far. Ithink I'm about ready to wrap up chapter 7 so I don't think I've had the opportunity to get anything other than those, but I dunno.

Mainly worried about the Treasure Hunter trophy due to the shitload of crap it'd require for all the crafting.

The rest I see myself easily getting with time since the majority are just a grind or are story related.
(5*'ing all those challenge areas can't be that bad)

According to sources for the Treasure Hunter trophy/ahicevement. You just need to have owned a item, not have it on you still, and it counts towards it.

Yeah, but that would mean having to make a checklist of everything I've had on me that's applicable, and I've yet to delve into the crafting system so I don't know what's safe to sell for gil, and what I need to keep for crafting my weapons further.

I've heard the only thing you have to be really careful about is accessories, since there are some you can never get again. Everything else is supposed to be available once you beat the game.

I can't confirm this though, so I haven't sold a single item yet. Not like I need the gil, I'm on Chapter 4 and still haven't found anything worth buying.

Looking at the list you can only do them all after finishing the game. Treasure Hunter only requires you to have owned the item at some point, that includes the ultimate weapons (although you only need to upgrade one for each chara).

Other's are complete all D/C/B/A-class Marks, Complete Mark mission 54, do them all with 5 star rating, complete some trial thing that you unlock at end of game, master each role (doesn't say if it's on all chara or just one).

Deal 100k+ dmg, defeat a long gui (some overpowered 'normal' mob by the sounds). Fully develop all chara, reveal full attributes of 100 mobs, defeat a mark (i think its a mark) again in its second form. Walk 10k steps in gran pulse and dig up 20 treasures on a choco.

Walking and fully developing all chara could suck ;;

Oh fuck yes. I just got my PS3 and am still using the theme it came with. They better be good.

And that thing about 100 enemies worries me, but all the boards say it's not missable. I might start using Libra on everything just in case though, not like I have any other use for my TP yet.

The more you fight something the more intel you get, Libra just helps you get it faster. As long as you have a check in your data log it counts as 1 of the 100

Oh, I thought it was like Tales of Symphonia where scanning an enemy is required to get the data. That's ok then.

Its not missable because you can just go back libra stuff. I've been doing it from the start because unlocking mob weaknesses makes your party AI better about what to use against them.

You might as well cast Libra on everything if you have the TP for it. Most of the time you're running around with at least 1 TP anyway and you seldom need to pull out your summons during battles.

As for the Themes they're nothing spectacular, just a background wallpaper with the character and better-looking icons.

Platinum Trophy = Sera
5 Star all Missions = Snow
Clear Chapter 11 = Vanille
Beat the Game = Hope
Treasure Hunter = Fang
Libra Trophy = Sazh
5-Star the Last Boss = Lightning

Ok thanks. Looks like Vanille and Hope are the only ones you get automatically... bleh. Vanille's will probably be mine for a while until I unlock Lightning or Fang.

Yuri if you go to the PSN store, there ale quite a bit of free themes you can download.
