People will find something to complain about. That's always been the case. I don't mind the names whatsoever. Never have.

However I would rage if my main protagonist's name was Tiffany or something dumb. Brittany? Lawl.

Did anyone else get this vibe..? Picture the Steppe as the Calm Lands from FFX. Oerba Village is Zanarkand. Trekking to Oerba gave me nostalgia. As soon as I got to Oerba and the battle theme didn't change (i.e, it remained the same as the theme that plays in the background when you're not in a fight) it felt as if I had reach FFXIII's Zanarkand. When Vanille said "No, I have to see for myself." Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Also, Ragnarok is the Final Aeon. You know, after looking back at this game and comparing it to the way FFX develops, its almost as if they used a template similar to that of FFX. IIRC, you don't start doing side quests in 10 until you reach the Calm Lands (unless you want to consider doing Blitzball a side quest, which I guess it is...) and can go back and get everyone's Celestial Weapon.

My only complaint about FF character names is when they aren't pronounced the way I want them to be. Tidus should be "tie-duss" and Sazh should be "sawz." Not "tee-duss" and "sazz."
