Spoiler: show
This game is just chock full of older FF references. Right down to the Carbuncle Doll (which if they arent already selling on the SE website, they will by Summer, lol)

Fang's tattoo looks like an ahriman.
Didn't want to make a new thread to just ask this:
Other than the store, is there any references to Moogles?
Also, saddened there is no real Marlboro![]()
Oh my god, there are no moogles you're right. My world is broken now, fuck you. How did they leave them out and I didn't notice until now...![]()
(Air-)ship in Xenosaga?
Fang gets an Ability named Highwind, that was Cid's Airship in FF7.

Oh wait, 14 isn't previous.
You can dig up Moogle dolls lol. That and the store is all I can remember. Should of made the save points moogles instead of the computer.
Classic Cactuars more than make up for the lack of Moogles.
The plushie cactuar on my desk says "FUCK YOU!"
The whole Crystal thing ya know, it references every fucking final fantasy ever made.
Yaag Rosch definitely reminds me of yagrush..
Yeah, I'm fairly disappointed with how small a role moogles play in the game. For a second I did look at a save point and thought it was in the shape of a moogle (like FFXI ones, floating there) but when I looked closer it obviously wasn't that. Should've been moogle-shaped computers for save points.
I'm kinda surprised Army of One wasn't just called Omnislash.
Oh speaking of save points, I may be looking too hard but they look like some weird amalgam of an xbox360 and a ps3. Specifically the top half is an Xbox, u can see it really well when it 'opens' u can see the 4 little feet on the corners, and the bottom is more of a stretch to a ps3 but has the general shape of the fat ps3...
It's Cid Highwind from 7
