I did that, I ran Rav/Med and switched to Rav/Rav when he did the shield move. Hope is a pussy ass bitch who can't take hits for shit and keeps healing his ass and not mine, or dying. Took an annoyingly long time to beat it.

And the healing AI is exceptional really. It hasn't fucked up once for me. Although I certainly prefer doing Medic and buffs myself.

Sazh is being really annoying right now though. Rocking Vanille + Sazh at the moment. When I swap him to buffs for tough enemies Bravery on himself is the last spell he casts. It is the only damn buff I want him to do on himself but no, he has to fucking Faith + Vigilence first every God damn time.

Well, that too. But I'm just saying... the AI sometimes makes choices you would not make, it'd be nice to at least give them some guidelines or just be able to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL.

Being able to swap to direct control would probably be way too hectic for most people. But there really is no reason they couldn't have found a way to optionally implement it. The AI is really good in most cases though, so it hasn't bothered me too much.
