Final Fantasy games have great, movie-like presentation. No one would ever argue this.
The music is great, the graphics are great.
Everything looks fluid.

They play like shit compared to most games though.

As far as gameplay goes I would actually say this is better than most of the series. I would also most definitely agree with you that it hasn't got shit on Tales as far as gameplay is concerned.
