Men should not wear any shorts at all. Never ever, unless you are at the beach. Shorts are something boys and females wear. It is a worse crime than wearing a t-shirt under a dress shirt or suit jacket.

… I have a whole drawer of jean shorts. They go below the knee, and arent too tight, or go too high up on the waise. They pretty much go to the hips. No one told me these went out of style! GDI!!! my wife is supposed to tell me these things!

If you are married you get to follow different rules. If your wife likes them and will still have sex with you when you wear them then that is what matters. Unless you are fishing for someone other than your wife but then you have bigger issues than fashion problems.

Hell, I wear shorts sometimes during winters here in ALabama just because they are so fucking terrible. Summer especially. Fuck rocking slacks/any kind of pants in 90+ degree heat plus a shit ton of humidity. I don't care about looking fashionable. I want to be comfortable.

Love my jean shorts, fiancee hates em. Only reason I don't wear em right now is I dropped about 6" from my waist and don't even come close to fitting right anymore.
