    PSP troubles

I have been painstakingly been trying to put movies on my PSP. I've tried to create a file in the MSduo called MP_ROOT with a file called 100MNV01 and put MP4 files into it, but it just won't work. Every time I try and put files into either the VIDEO file or MP_ROOT file, it always says the data is corrupted. I have only managed to get one video onto it, but I can't figure out how to do it again. If anyone has any experience putting videos onto a PSP 3000, I would really appreciate an up-to-date guide. I have the official 6.20 firmware if that helps any. Thanks in advanced.

I use this program for the most part, it also has a DVD ripper on it.

Anyone have any other programs? This isn't compatable with Windows7(64bit)

Other than that program and the official Sony media converter software, I don't know of any others.

PSP is just really freaking picky on the kind of mp4 it'll play. You can use programs like handbrake, pspvideo9, or flv converter to help you convert files. Takes some trial and error to figure out which settings are ideal, or pay a visit to their forums and there's bound to be psp related topics.

And your videos should go into j:\VIDEO where "j" is your stick's drive letter. There's also torrents of some shows already re-encoded to psp/ipod playable formats, and they're pretty good given the psp's limits.

Think I've tried every possible converter/whatever to get anything onto my PSP. Created the folders for where you need to put stuff, and it just never worked. It is now propping my desk up to keep it even.

Have you try Xilisoft Video Converter? it's one of the best video converter imo, work for just about anything, ps3,xbox,psp,ipod,etc...
