I did 0 grinding all the way to what I think is the boss of chpt 11(might be wrong its a boss fight nevertheless) And up till this part the mini boss fights have been easy taking only a few goes at each to see what works best with my combos. This boss tho one shots me so im grinding a tad now to up my HP and dmg output.

I had around ~1400 HP on each one outside my tank who had 2k hp. Tank did fine but when I started to attack it deal even with buffs 1800 dmg a pop to hope or light if the tank lost any hate at all. One shoting them

Anything worth killing when you first get here? I've just been doing missions and avoiding the battles I could. Aggroed a Behemoth on accident and it pretty much raped my face, lol.

This place is ALOT bigger than I thought though. I kept hearing it was really big, but didn't expect it to be that damn big. Either way, it looks very nice.

Stick to wolves and penguins. People say the penguins can give you hell, but honestly I was extremely weak when I first got to Gran Pulse. Flans are also nice too... if you can get a Pre-Emptive Strike on a Behemoth, it's not so bad.

Wyverns aren't hard either, if you just buff/debuff at the start.

Adamantoises. Don't touch those.

It's worth finding the waystone missions and killing atleast two so it's easy to teleport back there from other places. However; in the area where you go to kill the final boss he opens a teleporter to both GP and to another place so you can go back there and farm/grind and stuff both before and after you kill him.

I'd say it's a good idea to farm a full Crystarium when you get to GP because Mahabara Mines (the place right after GP) has two quite difficult trash fights without some grinding.

I found out the Goblins give around 3k cp but they have a lot of HP.

I'm trying to do all the possible missions I can here before moving on. I'm gonna get back to finishing those up in a bit, just needed a break, lol. It costs alot of CP now just for one little orb, good thing is grinding doesn't bother me one bit really, so it'll be easy to grind CP here.

goblins melt when you sic a SAB on them.

Everything melts if you throw Ruinga at them with Vigilance up. Such a broken ass spell.

I don't think so, at least not in Ch. 11. If there is, I'd like to know as well, lol.

I need some gil to upgrade Fang/Snow's weapons, everyone else is set/decent with a Tier 1 Starred. I have the Uraninite (sp?) to move to the 2nd tier for Light, but since the stats drop from the Tier 1 Star to Tier 2 Lv. 19, I thought I'd wait, make some gil, max out the multiplier with some beast stuff and then go nuts with turbojets or whatever it is that give 2300exp per with 3X multiplier.

Yeah I'm in the same chapter as well... oh well, might as well continue with the story for now...

BTW, I went into this cave to the north, and I strayed off the path and went uphill only to find some huge machine that keeps kicking my ass... I assume I'm not supposed to fight it for now lol.

Can do missions up to #14 then do chocobo digging. First dig gives you a 100% Gold Nugget and one of the chests in a chocobo-only area also has a Gold Nugget. They sell for 60k each. After that it's like a 6% chance to pull up a nugget every time you find a dig spot.

What area is mission 14 in?

speaking of missions, i had a tutorial pop up for teleportation, but everytime i go back to a cie'th stone i've already done it just asks if i want to redo it.

do only certain stones give the option to teleport?

Yellow stones are teleporters. Once you've done at least two yellow ones you can teleport from them by talking to em.

So I just beat the game, and I'm back in GP. Uh, not sure how to get started with endgame stuff >_> guess I just keep continuing the missions? I could really use some money

Any suggestions? I think I cleared all the missions (except for the 50+ ones) in the main area, dug about 30 items and not a single piece of gold, all junk. :/ neeeed money

make a malboro/nirvana wand for vanille and kill the big adamantoise with Death for platinum ingots
