Seriously. My base party (just reached gran pulse pretty much) is Light COM Vanille MED Sazh SYN and I blitz / heal myself with COM + MED while Sazh makes his merry way around to haste + enspell at the very least then switch to RAV RAV RAV, COM RAV RAV, or COM MED RAV as the situation warrants...but the times I want enspells + brave / faith for everyone? I feel like I'm just tapping my foot waiting forever.
I have Sazh with the auto-charge ATB gauge x1 ACC too so right at start before anyone moves he hastes himself but it's not enough![]()
I had this problem, took me a few fights to tweak a solid what seems to be 100% successful strat (i havent had him heal in 30+ fights)
I use Fang(COM) Light(RAV) Sahz(SYN), Fang will attack for pre-emptive strike, i use Aurora Scarf on Sahz and have him haste everyone, just as he his hasting Fang, Light will attack the Behemoth and send him into stagger, just as he is casting haste on Light, quickly switch to relentles COM/RAV/RAV and hes dead within a few seconds, then just take the wolf down easy, never usually need to switch a medic in. Fight lasts around 50 seconds, fastest was 47, which i dont think is too bad since i only just got to GP.
I
So...yeah...Giga Cactuar...
Ow.
Anyone beat him? Some massive usage of SEN I assume?
I don't Know if anyone knows about this but:
The lil robot that Sazth Fixs Vanila's "Friend" in obera, gives you clues to finding treasure/Fal'Cie,
First ones at Sulyya Springs, go main center island and drop down going towards the waterfall where you'll find a ???(X-Examine),
I'm not sure if you get to fight it, it would seem not but maybe someone else will beable to figure it out if you can, if anyone else wants try.
The place you need to go through to get to Oebra or w/e
No by Factory I think he means Atmos's tunnels. To unlock Cactaurs you have to first visit a hill that is "blocked" from getting to by Dinos (I just can't call them turtles) east (assuming the red wall you get to by choco in north) from the area with all the KB's. I say blocked because they appear to be blocking the path but you can hug the wall and get by.
I used SEN/COM/MED Snow/Light/Hope. Stacked mainly HP accessories and one pain resistance one (although probably not necessary) on SEN and just took all the 10,000 needles. Had about 22k health or so I think. Light had Random: Instant Chain on and after 3 or 4 mins into the fight he finally broke and then hit the deck pretty quickly. Also, good idea to control the SEN yourself so you don't get randomly smashed down if Challenge fails a few times at the start. I went in with full TP too, just incase I needed to pop Renew, which I did once. Was really boring and easy in the end.
You had 22k health or it did? My characters have 3k max at the moment -.-
Haste always goes up first, but it's what comes after that changes as the fights do. Sometimes they'll cast Enspells first, sometimes Barspells first, sometimes Protect/Shell and other times Faith and Bravery.
Mission 34Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
I had taken a break from farming the CP on those two mobs and did the missions that are required for chocobo riding. By the time I finished that and used up all my CP from missions, I was more than strong enough to take Behe into stagger/launched to not remove any acc. or dumb my strat down at all.
is there some point to Ochu besides the fact that it has a cutscene before it appears? Does it drop anything special? I just spent like 20 minutes killing it pretty early in chapter 11, probably before I'm supposed to, got 0 stars and no drops but 13k CP lol
Not sure if this has been asked but if I progress with the story can I go back to the main area of gran pulse to do the missions? (By progressing with the story I meanz going all the way up until right before the last boss.) I'm only in the tunnel just after so plz no spoilers
