Hello to all who may read this. I am doing the big climb in Seattle on March 21st for a charity that searches for cures for cancer like leukemia and such.
Last march my mother did this with her work and she really enjoyed it I could see she felt great about helping out. Well on 9/24/09 my mother suddenly passed away, I was at a Seattle Sounders game on 9/19 and my phone was almost ripping itself out of my pocket it was ringing so much(didn't want to answer it im at a game for crying out loud). Well I was told by my sister that mom had a stroke and she is at the hospital. Well turns out she had an aneurysm that ruptured on the left side of her brain. For those that do not know, the left side of the brain controls voice, normal functional skills and emotions.
I was devastated.
She was pretty much in a coma from 9/19 at roughly 1 PM until 9/24/09 at 4:35AM, they had taken her off of life support(hardest thing i've had to see in my life, btw im 24(now 25)) at 8:00PM on 9/23.
This charity event is held in the Columbia Tower in Seattle and has 69 flights of stairs we walk/run/skip/crawl up to the top. I am on a team with my twin brother and 2 sisters, and a few co workers.
My name is Ryan Williams and If you would like to help raise money, donate in my name and help out
Thanks
note: i didn't see a rule about advertising, but if this is a problem, lock/delete away, and ill apologize to my computer screen since i won't be able to apologize to anyone.. ;x
