The fights com/rav/rav really shine over com/com/rav is if there's one mob in particular you need to focus on. Chapter 11 for example have these mechanical mobs that spawn 4 smaller mobs, and then do a move which automatically gives them faith/bravery/protect/shell etc. and then proceed to assrape you. This mob needs to be taken out first, so in this situation com/com/rav wouldn't be very good, even though it works on most trash mobs where you can Blitz/Ruinga everything to hell.

Isn't COM/RAV/RAV the most efficient after a mob is staggered? One COM is plenty to keep something launched, and RAVs build the stagger meter way quicker than COMs do.
    Spoiler: show
I was able to zerg boss fights such as Cid Raines without him every metamorphosing due to this fact
, if I had gone COM/COM/RAV I'm 100% positive I would have lost my stagger before he had died.
    Spoiler that crap please.

I've yet to find a situation where COM COM RAV kills faster; COM may have slightly stronger base attacks but RAV builds the chain multiplier faster, which is actually a damage multiplier as well. One COM is enough to slow the meter and then launch in staggers, until you cap the meter I've had better results from double RAV, barring situations where the creature is magic resistant or something.

Your target time is based off your equipment btw. If you are not grinding your CP but keep upgrading weapons it will make it harder to hit 5 stars. Also like the above sad, most of the time to get 5 stars you just have to be aggressive.
