i thought we could post here for help on boss fights, instead of posting somewhere else. For ease of access. i'll start. I'm stuck on the helicopter fight. I need strategies.

Havoc skytank? Attack the other parts of it first then focus on it with Relentless Assault till you stagger it.

Basically, just zerg each gun as fast as possible.

Reserve Odin as your oshit button for if all of your characters need healed at once.

Once you finish off the guns, the ship can be staggered and will be easy to kill, though it'll use a bit of a powerful laser attack once it charges up.

i just don't seem to be able to keep health up even with a full time MED. Should i use Fang as a SEN untill i kill the guns?

SEN/MED/COM is what I did. Shit was a joke. To be honest, I always forget I have Eidolons so I've yet to use a single one unless the game has required me to.

You shouldn't need a Sentinel for that fight.

I just used Hope for buffs at the start then went all out, switched to MED when needed though.

Yeah, make sure you buff with Hope at the start.

The only time I used a SEN for that fight was when it used its Pinpoint Lazer thing that takes off a big chunk of health. I swapped between Relentless and com/rav/med for the guns and it went down pretty quick. Also, I took out the top two parts first since it looked like they were the ones that shot the missle/rocket things while the other two were just turrets.

Oh my fucking shit! SE can't be serious!

Beat Proudclad v1 no problem, was pretty easy, but v2, shit. It's all well and good until he does that limit breaker thing, full heal and huge AoE that pretty much instakills my party because I can't seem to heal quick enough after, even with Haste!

Any tips from anyone who's beat it? Tried a few setups and nothing seems to be going my way. /piss and moan

Bring two healers, Hope is highly recommended. Keep party HP above 50% at all times.

Do everything you can to bring him to stagger as soon as he transforms/lands. Keep him in the air. Win.

a dozen tries later I gots him... he hits way too hard and interrupts too much shit for only 2 characters. >.> Do you always get 5 stars on eidolons? I beat him with like 25 left on my doom counter lol.

I havnt really had any problems. I think i died once but it was my fault. switch to the wrong paradigm setup. Then again im mid chapter 7 right before the havoc skytank.

I just made sure that libra was used and went into the fight with the item buffs on me to save me trouble later in the fight to buff up. I should of made a COM/MED with hope healing but kept forgetting and lighting was my main healer the whole fight.

Just try to keep stagger building and when the thing is in stagger, go COM on Lightning and keep juggling him in the air, saves you hits to your party and rinse/repeat when needed.
