i believe there are 5 of them 1 behind the door to the Fei stone 1 for the mission and 3 in the factory easiest way i've found is to get it stuck spamming steam clean by putting debuffs onto it while on char heals and the other tries to stagger once staggered just go full force at it

so yeah i just ran into this guy on my way through on chapter 11, what a long fight for my level. have at least 1 role capped for what you have in chapter 11 on each character, fight was easy once i got the system down.

what a lame reward, i hope that cie'th stone mission has a better reward.

If you put debuffs on him he will pause and use "Steam Clean" to remove them one by one (more debuffs = more time to remove them).

What I did is Lightning/Sazh/Vanille, no SEN. Start off on Bully (COM/SYN/SAB) like I have been doing to grind CP in the Steppe, my Crystarium is Lv 8/Roles (mains) for all capped at Lv 4. Started off like normal, Light attacks, Sazh gets Haste/Barfire up, etc., Vanille gets debuffs up, Juggernaut attacks as normal. If I needed to heal I had MED/MED/MED as my 6th paradigm (also had MED/SYN/MED). When Juggernaut does Steam Clean it gives you some breathing room if you need to heal, or you can go completely on offense and force a stagger.
