    Sorry, I don't really find it very funny when people misunderstand the religion I was brought up in. There are enough ridiculous things about Catholicism without making more up.

    I believe this is inpart due to all orthodox religions following the pope, but having differences within them.

    For example my father is Coptic (Egyptian Orthodox), and during lent they fast (no food from sunrise to sunset) the whole 40 days, but Catholics don't.

    I think sometimes the Orthodox religions get muddle between each other.
