Give the main character 3 max-level cherub charms, it should make death resistance 84%.

Finished last night, 61 hours. End fight was actually really simple for me, like previously stated poison just owns him, didn't even need to stagger him.

I had absolutely no trouble with that fight <.< Rolled in with light/hope/fang (med/syn/sab), full buffs/debuffs then switched to rav/rav/com until stagger then com/rav/com. After the first stagger was over he had something like 200k hp left, so quickly finished him off from there. Occasionally I switched to med/med/sent for a quick heal after his stronger attacks, but it was really a 5-7 second switch.

The second form went pretty much the same exact way. No, really, the exact same strategy, lol. I was disappointed I didn't have to change it up

Wow I 5-starred all 3 final bosses, that was a fucking joke. Orphan was taking 99999 from me occasionally too, how do you break the 100k cap if it hard caps you at 99,999? Am I missing something?

This fight seriously has me about to fucking rage. (No, wait I already did.)
Every single thing I try I get fucked.
The furthest I've had him down was to 1.1M HP left (and this is only the first form of Orphan; I take it theres two? fucking great.) and that was spamming debuffs on him and buffing myself/healing myself obviously. I got fucked with an insta-death maining Vanille because whenever I mained Light she ended up running out of health. I have no idea how, she's sitting at 4700HP and is Lv4 Commando/Lv4 Ravager. Whenever I used Hope or Vanille as party leads they get fucked with insta-death.

Edit: I also tried to take off the HP items I had on Vanille (she was up to 6300ish) and put them on Light to get Light up to ~5500ish HP and what happens? hi2u instant death. (Never. NEVER. hit Light out of my hours of attempts until I put HP equipment on her...)

I've seriously like tried everything. The only thing I can't try is an instant-death resist acc because apparently I don't have any. I try to leave the goddamn place to go level more and get some more money and I get cockblocked by stupid 15-30minute long battles and can't even get past the final one before I can leave (Some stupid-ass multi armed looking fucker with a Sanctum Guard on the stairs). I slip by the 3x Sanctum Guards and fight off the 2 little magical def weakness/phys def weakness beast things.
So, yeah. This fight is completely bullshit and I can't even leave to go get money or whatever. Awesome. I don't see the logic in having NORMAL FUCKING BATTLES take 20-30 minutes. Seriously? Like...really? Apparently I must really be doing shit wrong; I've made it up to this point with no huge issues. The only issues I had were Vanille's Eidolon fight and Proudclad v2 which were all fixed with a strategy change. But strategy changes just aren't working here at all. And whoever decided to put a rage timer on Bartandafucker needs to DIAF. Really.

Oh, I have Light rocking a Lv19 Ultima Weapon with Lv4COM/RAV, Vanille with Lv4SAB/MED and Hope with Lv4MED/RAV. All have weapons that are lv 20+ and have at least 4500HP. I don't understand in the least why I'm having so much trouble with..shit, everything in this goddamn last dungeon. Up until now I was using light/fang/hope (Fang is Lv4COM/Lv4SEN w/ Lv20 something Gungir) and was able to burn shit down fairly quickly but apparently it just doesn't work anymore. So I've been working with Light/Hope/Vanille, working a lot better but still not nearly good enough.
Pretty close to just watching the ending on youtube or something; shit's retarded.

Excuse my rage, this was typed after ~4 hours of trying to kill this fucker and another ~1.5 hrs of trying to leave. Guess I'm reloading before all of this shit and get to spend another 1.5-2hrs treking down to the last boss again. Sigh.

Pretty sure all my guys/gals hp were 6k+ (pretty sure 7k+), and had all their 2nd tier weapons star level.

Sounds like you need to grind some and level up your weapons lol, you seem pretty low all around

Yeah, I figured as much. Hopefully I can just find a way out of this place without raging too hard so I can keep the CP I made getting there. Guess I'll wake up and try and make a plan tomorrow -_-

i'm assusming as final boss your meaning oprhan who blocks all dmg and dooms you at start?
I used Fang(debuf)/Snow(Sen)/Hope(Buffer) jst spam depro/deshell/imp his gage will go up pretty fast, once haste/bravy is casted on all 3, change to rent attack jst spam attack on it. it will only take 2staggers to kill. switch to Com/Rav/Med when health is needed..

if your talking about the prior orphan, then simuler metode:
Start with Fang(Debuf)/snow(Sen)/Hope(buf) Dureing light Mode he wont dispel your bufs once he switch to Drk he will wait till goes to light to rebuf, if u get slowed change Com/Rav/Med and get it erased, keep attacking it when you think he's about to do his specail move, change to Com/Sen/Med, Heal up and repeat

If you want: rent attack> at 350/400Stagger gage> Summon> Stagger > Be4 stagger ends use specail Move> Exiler, doing this twice will take 3/4 of his life bar down.

I won quite easily using Fang(COM/SAB)/Hope(SYN/RAV/MED)/Light(COM/RAV).

    For Orphan:
Always make sure to debuff so COMs benefits from Siphon ATB recharge, this combined with haste makes for incredible attack speeds. I used Axis Blade(+Siphon) on Lightning, so she was attacking at ridiculous speeds.

I beat the game last night and I had a little trouble with Orphan as well. I tried Light/Fang/Hope at first, but then switched out Fang for Vanille while trying to cheese it with poison, which wouldn't work for me. My guys had all 3 of their main roles capped out with their 2nd tier weapons *ed. So I ended up doing it the hard way. It took me 2-3 short failed attempts and 1 long failed attempt, but I finally beat him after a 26 minute battle. Keep your buffs up at all times. I used Med/Med/Syn for buffing, then I would switch to Com/Rav/Med for one round of hits to keep his gauge alive, if it was more than half way, then switch back to buffing if I still needed it. Use Light/Van/Hope, so you have 3 medics and can Esuna Fog asap, I used Med/Med/Med for Judgement. Immediately switch to that if you see him going to use it (which happened to me like 3 times when he was at 390% and reset his gauge each time =/) I think that move is either a timed move or it goes off after a set amount of damage, so it can be fairly predictable. He uses it right after he changes between Dark and Light modes. He won't use it while staggered but will use it right after. When healed and buffed, I used Com/Rav/Med and Com/Rav/Rav and worked its gauge.

Orphan v2. a lot simpler method, Just buff up for atleast Haste/Faith/Bravery. Your shit will all be blocked on him until you stagger him. Just Stagger the shit out of him asap, then keep the damage up. Switch to Com/Med/Med or Med/Med/Med after he does that Ories move, it's not very dangerous unless you've been neglecting healing your guys.

For both versions I would switch to Com/Rav/Med after Orphan did 3 single person attacks which would be just enough damage for a single Med to cure in 1 round.

To be honest, I had more trouble with the damned unstaggerable Undying that you get warped to. There were too many dick mobs in the last area. I ended up MGSing, as many of them as I could, just to save time and frustration.

Completely raped both Orphans a little while ago. I guess I was just unlucky last night; woke up this morning and only lost once on Orphan v2. Pretty much did what I was doing keeping buffs up and debuffs up as much as possible and just pray to fucking god he doesn't insta-death light.
Oh, I also found out how to use the ultimate abilities I was reading about. Kinda forgot I learned them. Army of One helped a little bit I think.
Orphan v2 I honestly had no issues with; the only reason I died the first time was because I was experimenting around. Once I saw how OP stagger was on it with debuffs/buffs I had about a 90% uptime on both of them and made sure to try to save the stagger for when debuffs were up. Took about 2-3 staggers and he went down easily.

2:14 for first boss, 4:09 for 2nd, 1:10 for last. The last one took me 2 tries to 5 star, ended up having to control Hope to get since he gives enfire/bravery last for me sometimes I pretty much zerged them all, although I wish I didn't since made last boss too easy. Hopefully the missions will provide a decent challenge. Also, what should I do first since I just beat the game? Kinda lost on what to do first, missions, CP grind or farm, lol.

I didn't even bother with buffs for Orphan v2. Just bust in there with rav/rav/com to stagger and com/rav/com and beat the shit out of it. Was flinging off 99,999 dmg left and right too. 5 star first try lol, think the fight was 50 seconds at most (My doom timer was at 3800)

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do fast enough without the two important buffs. I kinda wanna redo it now, but fuck that, not doing it a third time.
