lol awesome. Nova's performance in the first round makes this not quite as big of a surprise, but still its still a decent upset. That St Mary's team has to be the whitest damn team ive seen in a while.

Will ESPN still try to spin things?

It doesn't matter if WVU and Syracuse go far. (which they still might) I think the tournament has clearly shown that there was some severe over-seeding.

There was definite over-seeding this year without a doubt. Most of the traditional powerhouses are having a down year (in comparison to the usual) and it seemed the committee was far too reluctant to give the mid-majors the higher seeds they likely deserved.

I mean seriously, I'm a ND fan and I thought they would land as a 12 seed. I was shocked when they got a 6.

When you have 8 seeds from a conference you have to over/under seed them. You can't always seed them what hey deserve because teams from the same conference cannot play each other before the sweet 16.
