Running sucks

You're doing it like Aaron Rodgers, should be a winner like Favre.

I think so. Now he has a little insurance because he has his title, but it's still pretty hilarious how he's constantly ousted as a higher seed.
I'm 5'11 and weigh 125lbs. My legs are as thick as bean poles. What kind of results were you expecting lol?
Also, 2 weeks of light running before a marathon is actually suggested. It's called a taper period. Although if you stopped altogether, it didn't help, but lightening the load isn't bad at all.
I was expecting to finish around 4:45ish, based on my 20 mile time from 3 weeks earlier.
And I know you're supposed to taper, I'd been following a running guide for 5 months now - but because they always say "when dealing with injury, error on the side of not running" I took that advice and stopped dead instead of tapering down. I considered swimming or biking or something to try to keep my cardio up while letting my shin splints heal, but I didn't want to introduce a new training element so close to the marathon.
Meh. Whatever. Waste of 5 months.
ESPN's Tournament Challenge doesn't have any perfect bracket entries left, but CBS has one left ....

A 17-year old autistic teen from Chicago has picked all 48 games correctly so far. Here's his bracket: http://media.nbcchicago.com/images/WinningBracket.jpg
His title game? Purdue over Kansas State.
The odds of anybody doing that? One in 13,460,000, according to BookofOdds.com. It's easier to win the lottery. Twice.
that's fucking scary
I was thinking the same thing, they've got to be making some assumptions regarding 1-16 games and so forth. Perhaps something in relation to the odds Vegas placed on the first round games, and the odds of all the games coming together as he predicted.
On another note, the Connecticut women's basketball team may be the most dominant team I've ever seen in any sport.
In other news, WVU loses their starting PG for the rest of the tourney.
Fuck, have them in the championship...
Why is he out? Not that I'm complaining, go UW for the upset!!
Joe Mazulla has been playing lights out, and it's not Butler so who gives a fuck
If it's not ebanks, butler or Jones their going to be fine.
Going by historical 1st round winning percentages by seed, I got a 1 in 13,198 chance for an all-chalk bracket after just the FIRST round. (actually I altered 9 seeds to being chalk since 9 seeds have a better winning percentage than 8s)
Maybe Vegas based their number on brackets filled out historically the first two rounds.
And then the bowl game...August 31 at Oklahoma State #2 Lewis Field • Stillwater, Oklahoma W 64-21 42,100

September 30* Washington State #2 Memorial Stadium • Lincoln, Nebraska W 35-21 75,777

There's been a lot of crazy teams in college sports.
Penn St. women's volleyball is every bit as dominant right now as UConn women's basketball if not more. They've lost like 1 *set* in 2 years, and that was in last year's NC.
I'll be rooting for Cornell since UConn never got their shit straightened out, and the UConn women aren't even worth following since they're going to steamroll everyone regardless. My best bud graduated from Cornell and I have like 4 or 5 other friends who went there, plus spent some good times visiting Ithaca.
My bud is up at Syracuse now, since he got tickets to the game. I expect a 4am drunken phone call asking me to drive 5hrs and bring him pants, if they win.
It'd be nice to see Cornell pull it off tonight.
