I'll be greatly upset if Bruce Pearl doesn't get coach of the year. Kicked off his best player and suspended a couple others for some time. Goes to the elite 8, and beats KU @ KU, and UK. Both as #1 seeds iirc.

I'd argue that Chism is and was their best player. I also like how they are a sum-of-all parts type of team rather than a team with a one-and-done player that gets all the calls.

Arv is the only person in the top 12 whose champ is still alive.

After him there's Biddinger at 13 with Duke still alive, and the Pitino guy at 15 with WVU still alive.


Other than those 3, the ONLY people in our entire group are the 2 that are tied for 39th place lol, with Duke.
