Really tempted to start off with miner though, i want to be rich quick in this game so I don't have to worry about money...

None of the jobs really interest me tbh.. If I had to choose I think I would be a Thaumaturge due to BLM similiarity. I want a BLU or SMN equivilent though ;/ guess its too early to tell.

Going to try them all in beta, but so far it looks like I want to be a pugilist or a lancer.

But as said already, getting rich first has it's perks. I may go with miner or botanist while everyone is fighting stuff.

Several of the jobs sound really cool, but i'd have to say Marauder or some sort of gathering class would probably what I would check out first. Or Pugilist. Or Lancer. or Conjurer. @_@

Also, depending on if racial stats matter or not in this game, I'd probably be Elezen(again) or Hyu. Maybe the galka one, they look cooler this time around(tail = fail?)

I really want to avoid playing another MMORPG, but if I do end up playing FFXIV, I would play Elv Lancer.

Lancer. They haven't shown anything related to end-game armor for Lancers, but so long as we aren't forced to wear plastic armor for "balancing" issues, and can instead wear heavy armor like every other Dragoon/Lancer in the history of FF (that could equip armor), I will be rolling a lancer for sure.

If not, then probably a glad for the old sword and board.

Human paladin type (Girl) looks really good...
but I like being a mage...argh. And I usually end up playing elf types. I just hope the females don't hold 2handed weapons stupidly this time around :/

Probably gonna start with hum conj. but I will most likely job-whore as I did in FFXI.

I was teetering between Gladiator and Marauder first but I'm not too impressed with Marauder's abilities.

I will certainly be a Gladiator primarily, unless I can't stand it during Alpha/Beta. I will give Marauder a try of course, but I foresee Gladiator being my main class.

I am very impressed with how Archer and Lancer turned out. They both seem like they will be tons of fun to play.

Archer or Conjurer both call to me, I also want to focus on a Discipline of Land/Hand in the beginning too
