    I'm a few hours in and I am enjoying it so far. It does seem to drag a bunch of elements from other RPG's and put them together, most notably the Georama system from Dark Cloud (granted it is same dev).

    Battle system seems to be getting mixed reviews mostly saying it is slow, although I don't mind it at all. Actually reminds me a little of FFXI, so I guess I got used to it.

    Story is supposed to be mediocre, I'm only a few hours in so can't really say.

    It is no Demon's Souls, but it is okay.

    Only the theme song seems to be any good. Really catchy, nice vocals, and guitar is always cool. But everything else seems to suck.

    Yeah, I was surprised at some of the music too. Theme is awesome.

    Give it a rent and test it out. I grabbed it for $35 and wasn't expecting much going in to it after reading some reviews. So far so good.

    Judging from the games you like BRP, I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty you will not like this game.

    I like it, I find the online to be a lot of fun. The storyline is average, and the game play is decent but its a pretty cookie cutter JRPG as far as the single player goes. The online is all grind grind and more grind, but I find it fun.
