You can try IDM (Internet Download Manager). It works wonder for me.

It'll be the same quality as you seen on the youtube video. If you want to download the HD (720p+ on some youtube videos), choose that at the bottom bar and let it load, then click on IDM and it'll let you choose which to download.

Is there a free/pirate version? I remember I used to have IDM to download my law and order episodes from a slow chinese streaming site and it had like a month trial?
